1 correlated to the Grades K - 7 The Common Core State Standards recommend more focused and coherent content that will provide the time for students to discuss, reason with, reflect upon, and practice more important mathematics. For intervention students who have already fallen behind, it is not necessary to re-teach every missed skill, concept, and standard. Rather, intervention must focus on the Core within the Core the standards most critical for success in algebra. Do The targets the foundations defined by the National Panel as critical for ensuring a successful transition from elementary to middle school to high school mathematics and beyond Fluency with Whole Numbers [Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication, Division] and Fluency with Fractions. This alignment guide features the Common Core State Standards that focus on these core foundations and how Do The lessons correlate to those standards. TM & Scholastic Inc. All rights reserved.
