1 1 COMMERCIAL STALL APPLICATION FORM Friday 16 Sunday 25 January SF6718 Commercial stalls are 3m x 3m and are located in Fitzroy Street in the Tamworth CBD. Please advise if you require power overnight. SITE ACCESS SITE ACCESS SET UP: It is anticipated that access to the site for set up will be available after 4pm on Thursday 15 January. SITE ACCESS BUMP OUT: A Closing Concert will be held in Bicentennial Park on the evening of Sunday 25 January, from 7pm to 10pm (approximately) and will conclude with a fireworks display. All stalls are encouraged to operate until the end of this concert. Vehicle access to Fitzroy Street for pack down is prohibited before 11pm on Sunday 25 January. Times above are indicative only. Successful applicants will be advised of exact access and operation times.

2 2 GOODS TO BE SOLD Please provide a description of all items you propose to sell: OWN MARQUEE OR STRUCTURE? Fees listed on page 4 of this form would still be applicable. PLACEMENT OF STALLS The allocation of successful stalls will be based on the type of products sold, the quality of your set up and how you display your goods. Please provide photographs of your stall to show how amazing your stall set up is. lf you have a preference please detail this below or mark the diagram on the following page.

3 3 STALL LAYOUT Stalls will be located on the road approximately 2m from the kerb within a pavilion that will be divided into 3m x 3m sites. Each stall site will have three walls and a canvas door that can be closed. Stalls will face the centre of the road (facing North West or South East). Stall operators can place structures and items for sale out the front of their stall site as long as these items are no further than 1.5m from the front of the stall. See map below showing approximate location of commercial stalls in red. NORTH TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUPPPLIED STRUCTURE Each stall site will be made from a 3m x 3m hoecker which will be connected to other 3m x 3m hoeckers to create a long pavilion. Although each stall site is 3m x 3m the actual size available is slightly smaller due to steel leg being located in each corner and a cross beam at a height of 2.4m. Pop up marquees larger than 2.8m x 2.8m are NOT permitted to be placed within the supplied structure. Please see images to the right and frame measurements below for your information.

4 4 In making this application, I agree to abide by all instructions and conditions imposed by Tamworth Regional Council and acknowledge the following information: 1. No onsite parking is permitted. Vehicle access to your site will be restricted to between 6am and 10am only. All vehicles entering the road closure must display a valid council issued permit. Vehicles will be permitted to enter the road closure at these times for the purpose of restocking only. Exact access times will be provided to successful applicants. 2. NO furniture will be provided for stall holders. 3. No water or sewer will be available to sites. 4. A power outlet of 10amps will be provided to each site. All electrical leads used at the site are to be heavy duty and comply with the requirements of WorkCover NSW. WorkCover NSW requires electrical leads to be tested at least annually, and identification tags to be attached. 5. The holder of any approval is responsible for the collection and disposal of litter associated with, and in the immediate vicinity of the stall. Adequate bins are to be provided and the garbage contents disposed off at the end of each day. At no time is waste water to be disposed of in the street, gutter or drains. Fines will apply for pollution offences. 6. In the event of an emergency arising by threat of fire or flood, the stall holder shall comply with any direction issued by Council s events or compliance staff or by any member of the SES or emergency services. 7. Tamworth Regional Council accepts NO responsibility for the security and or any loss or damages incurred to stall holders and street traders during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. 8. The sale of prohibited, hazardous or dangerous goods in not permitted. 9. The travel of any pedestrians is not to be impeded. 10. The sale of prohibited, hazardous or dangerous goods in not permitted. 11. Spruiking and microphones are not permitted without prior permission. 12. Pre recorded messages promoting your stall/business are not permitted. 13. All stallholders at the event shall present and conduct themselves in a manner suitable for a family event. In particular the use of language or images that may be considered offensive by members of the community will not be accepted. If you believe a part of your presence at the event may breach this code of conduct, please discuss it with Tamworth Regional Council before applying. 14. The sale of the following items is strictly prohibited during the Tamworth Country Music Festival; a. Explicit and hardcore T shirts j. Drug related goods (including cocaine kits, bongs etc) b. Fake cigarettes k. Stink bombs c. Fuel type fire lighters (eg: Zippo) l. Water bombs d. Horns and trumpets m. Silly string e. Knives (including pen knives) n. Fireworks crackers f. Metal and wooden martial art nunchakas o. Water pistols g. Playing cards (nude or lurid) p. Laser pointers h. Pressure pack fart gas q. Toy guns i. Pressure pack snow 15. No damage is to be done to the road, footpath or any other council property. 16. The business/organisation must hold a current public liability policy of not less than $10 million with Tamworth Regional Council noted as an interested party. 17. Should a business or activity choose to operate without the approval of council or outside of their approval, appropriate action could eventuate in accordance with Section 626 and/or Section 627 of the Local Government Act. Provision is made under the legislation to issue an infringement or seize goods offered for sale. 18. I/we indemnify Tamworth Regional Council and its employees and volunteers against any and all liabilities, claims and actions that may eventuate from the establishment, operation and removal of any trading premises (stall) during the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Friday 16 January to Sunday 25 January COMMERCIAL TRADER FEE (Inc GST) $1300 for each 3m x 3m site for applicants located in the Tamworth LGA $2010 for each 3m x 3m site for applicants located outside the Tamworth LGA This is an application only and does not guarantee your involvement Local Government in the Tamworth Act 1993 Country Section Music 68 Festival.
