4 PLASMA SOURCE Durma Plasma cutting series are equipped with HPR 130, 260 and 400XD Hypertherm high performance source. Manual or automatic gas control equipments adjusts the needed cutting gases mixing ratio for the operation. The marking operations can be performed. 5 TORCH HEIGHT CONTROL Hypertherm s X-Y Command THC is a torch height control system designed for plasma cutting applications on an X-Y cutting table. The system uses the plasma arc voltage to control the physical stand-off (distance) between the torch and workpiece during plasma arc cutting. Initial height sensing (IHS) is accomplished by ohmic contact sensing or by a limited force stall detection method. Also the used equipment called Breakaway protects the plasma torch against crashing by sending an interrupt signal. The control has open hardware and software functions and is ideally suited for users requiring distributed automation solutions with regard to PLC I/Os and drives and/or prefer a fully PCintegrated control system. Durma has a own plasma software on Sinumerik controller. The operator can load the operation parameters to the power supply easily. Some simple shapes can be loaded from the included improvable library. The cutting operations is shown on the screen during cutting. Controller can be connected to the computer or a LAN via Ethernet connection point. If the customers want, they control the plasma filter unit by pressing any button on the control panel or automatically when the cutting starts. Machine searches the plate, finds the Operation Zero position and calculates the Plate Angle automatically.

6 CAD/CAM SOFTWARE By using Metalix drawing software can be created any plasma cutting files. It converts DXF and DWG files to own file types and gives CAM operations. Including Nesting software is placed the shapes to use best area on the material to decrease the cutting cost. Also time and cost calculation can be done. FUME EXTRACTION SYSTEM During the thermal cutting process of metal a large amount of fine dusts are generated which harmful fort he user, his environment and the machines. Therefore it is indispensable to provide an optimal extraction as well as clean air at the working place. CUTTING TABLES Durma uses the Kemper System 8000 filter units for these applications. Durma Plasma Machine uses the zonal cutting tables, which means the extraction system caps are opened only where the torch works. The extraction system is changeable with the machine types. The table type plasma machine has electropneumatical switches, which are controlled by Sinumerik. Large machine has pneumatical switches or only mechanical system. A part presses on the switches or pushes the cap brackets. OXY-FUEL TORCH (OPTIONAL) Users can perform the cutting operations more than 80 mm thickness for mild steel with help an additional torch. The machine bridge dimension is determined the maximum flexible torch which will be used. THC PENDANT PANEL (OPTIONAL) The THC Command parameters can be entered with pendant panel. It can change the arc voltage during cutting. AIR DRYER (OPTIONAL) Plasma technology uses the air for cutting and/or shield gas. The used air must be clean, dry and oil free. In this case air dryer must be had in the stock.
