1 1 Introduction 1.1 Getting Started This White Paper is intended as a guide for configuration of Siemens HiPath listed low connect voipgate service. The intended audience of this document is PBX Administrar or Network/Solutions Integrar of Siemens HiPath. Please contact your Siemens equipment supplier/integrar for additional assistance if/when required. Unless orwise stated please use default settings. 1.2 Version Compatibility The build versions utilised in this series of testing are; voipgate version utilised: 1.4.r Siemens HiPath tested: V7.0 M5T Stack/ NOTE: Please note that differing results of compatibility may experienced on or releases/versions of same product line. 1.3 Latest Information All information presented in this document is current at time of writing. 2 2.1 Settings / Advanced / VoIP Settings Login in your voipgate account go Advanced Settings tab n VoIP Settings tab configure your settings as per low. 2.2 Settings / Dial Options 2 / 15

4 3.2 Configuring voipgate trunks on Siemens HiPath Configuration is carried out using HiPath 3000 Manager E, download latest KDS from system fore continuing. It is assumed that basic configuration has already en carried out. a) Routes Tab. In Lines/Networking tab go Routes tab ( Richtungen ) select Trunk Group 12. 7 d) Dial Plan. Configure Dial Plan according your inbound & outbound dialling plan requirements. NOTE: Certain types of calls cannot routed over voipgate e.g. emergency calls, fax modem traffic. Check with voip GATE for any or restrictions. Make sure that se types of calls are routed via PSTN. 7 / 15

9 3.3 Configuring Siemens HiPath Gateway (HG1500/STMI2) Configuration is carried out using WBM. It is assumed that basic HiPath HG1500/STMI2 configuration has already en carried out Go Explorers > Routing > IP Routing screen, click + exp IP Routing tree, right-click Default Router select Edit Default Router.
