1 Integrating Citrix EasyCall Gateway with SwyxWare The EasyCall Gateway has been tested for interoperability with Swyx SwyxWare, versions 6.12 and These integration tests were done by using EasyCall versions 2.x and 3.0. To enable the EasyCall Gateway to work with those Swyx systems, you must configure a SIP trunk between the EasyCall Gateway and the Swyx system. The integration described in this guide can be done in tandem with EasyCall Gateway installation and configuration, which includes defining the properties of the telephony system trunk and defining any changes the EasyCall Gateway makes to telephone numbers before sending them to the telephony system for dialing. The EasyCall Gateway always listens on port By default, the EasyCall Gateway communicates with the SIP trunk over port 5060; that port is configurable. For information about EasyCall Gateway configuration, refer to the EasyCall Gateway Administrator s Guide. Those responsible for configuring the telephone system must take the specific characteristics of a site into consideration to determine the settings that are appropriate for the site. The following topics describe telephony system configuration Configuring the SwyxWare PBX Configuring the EasyCall Gateway

2 Configuring the SwyxWare PBX The following screens show a sample Trunk Configuration. The default values required for the trunk to be active are included. To define a SIP Trunk Group 1. In the SwyxWare Administration console, view the Trunks and Trunk Groups folder. Right-click Trunks and select Add Trunk. You have now opened the Add Trunk Wizard. 2. Enter a descriptive Trunk Name and fill out the Description.

3 3. Select Create new Trunk Group to create a separate trunk group for the EasyCall Gateway. 4. Enter a descriptive Trunk Group Name and fill out the Description.

4 5. Select SIP for Trunk Group Type. Leave Profile set to <Customized SIP> as there is no pre-configured profile for the Citrix EasyCall Gateway. 6. Make sure Enable SIP registration is unchecked.

5 7. Insert the IP or fully qualified domain name in the Proxy field and set Port to Leave DTMF Mode at the default setting. 8. Check Enable STUN support only if you have to traverse a firewall with NAT. Typically, Citrix EasyCall Gateway is placed on the same VLAN as the PBX.

6 9. Keep the for all external calls option selected. 10. Use the drop down menu for Calling Right and select No call restrictions.

7 11. Select the appropriate Location for this group. Completing the SIP trunk setup

8 1. Make sure that Trunk Group that was set up is selected. 2. Leave User ID, User Name, and Password blank.

9 3. Fill in the appropriate Country Code and Area Code. Since the trunk is only used for incoming SIP commands from the EasyCall Gateway to the Sywx PBX, the trunk is not terminated by any specific number. Leave the Subscriber Number fields blank. 4. No SIP URI configuration is needed here.

10 5. EasyCall Gateway only supports G.711 audio codec. Make sure that Fax over IP is not selected. 6. Enter the number of channels that are available for concurrent calls. For an E1 trunk, this is typically 30.

11 7. Confirm the Computer Name of the SwyxWare server. To Set the Record Priority 1. Select the newly created Trunk Group for the EasyCall Gateway and view the properties. Select the Routing Records tab. Edit the only routing record listed.

12 2. In the new window, select the Routing tab and set Record Priority to a value of 0. This trunk should not be used for outgoing calls since is only used to feed by Citrix EasyCall Gateway.

13 Configuring the EasyCall Gateway Refer to the Getting Started section of the EasyCall Gateway Administration Guide for installation instructions. To define the properties of a trunk 1. In the EasyCall Gateway administration tool, click Cluster Configuration and then click Trunks. 2. Click Add Trunk. 3. Enter a descriptive Trunk Name. This name identifies this trunk in the list on the Trunks tab. 4. In Trunk Capacity, enter the number of channels available to EasyCall. Your telephony system specialist can provide this value. 5. Enter the SIP Switch Settings provided by your telephony specialist. PBX Port should be set to Configure call handling so that phone numbers will be dialed correctly from the locale of the gateway using the Call Configuration section.
