3 SAUTER: a solid performance thanks to a global presence. The Swiss SAUTER Group has its headquarters in Basel and operates globally with numerous subsidiaries and an international sales network was marked by a good performance in the German-speaking countries and the Netherlands, while business in southern Europe continued to decrease. The main driving forces for growth were the Services and Facility Management divisions. The components and OEM business also made positive progress. In the Green Buildings sector, SAUTER is once again ideally positioned. Good positioning, good performance. In 2012, SAUTER had to face some difficult economic conditions. The rest was contributed by the Components and OEM division. Expertise for green buildings. The SAUTER Group is one of the leading specialists in the Green Buildings sector with its solutions and expertise, and is able to help customers attain a higher ranking in building certifications such as LEED, DGNB, BREEAM, etc., and enable investors to obtain a higher market value for their buildings. The company is also represented on the relevant national and international committees. For the LEED building certification, the NuOffice in Munich received a record score of 94 points with the «Platinum» award with a solution designed by SAUTER. SAUTER was also able to expand its market position in the Life Sciences sector. Among other things, this was due to a major contract for the research campus of a leading Swiss pharmaceutical group in Shanghai and a Procter & Gamble project in Singapore. In 2012, SAUTER successfully tendered for several important and prestigious projects which will move into the implementation phase in This means that SAUTER can anticipate a positive business development in future.
