Features include a virtual whiteboard, multi-party annotations and remote desktop control. The minimal bandwidth required for a Web Collaboration session is128kb. 5 Component Version Scopia MCU Scopia Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync 7.7 Scopia TIP Gateway 8.0 Scopia Gateway ASSR Documentation note Please note that in the Deployment Guide for Avaya Scopia Web Collaboration server and in the Port Security For Avaya Scopia Solution Reference Guide the bidirectional ports to open between the Avaya Scopia Web Collaboration server (WCS) and the Enterprise are specified incorrectly. The actual UDP port range to be opened is and not Upgrade 1. Before upgrading the device please verify that there are no active sessions on it. 2. Open Scopia Management Web UI. 3. Go to tab "Devices" "Web Collaboration Servers" 4. Mark the checkbox of the device you want to upgrade and from the Manage button, choose Upgrade Software. 5. Press Ok after verifying there are no open sessions. 6. If the new software was not added to the Scopia Management database, Add it now. 7. Choose the correct version and press Apply. 8. 6 Downgrade A full software upload is required in order to install a previous software version. Resolved Issues and Enhancements This section details the list of issues that were resolved in version Table 1: Resolved Issues version Description of Issue Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) does not receive the presentation from H.239 content sharing. Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) might experience a problem when starting Application Sharing: the "Choose Application" list is not displayed. Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) is unable to select Sharing Tools because the pen tool is blinking. Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) issue with "Refresh" and "Decline" buttons on Grant Control. MacOS: the "Stop Sharing" button in witheboard mode is inactive. MacOS: the Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) may crash shortly after joining the meeting. This section details the list of issues that were resolved in version Table 2: Resolved Issues version Description of Issue MacOS: Unexpected error occurred when starting desktop sharing. MacOS: Problems with sharing secondary screen. Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC) does not receive the presentation from H.239 content sharing. Inappropriate notification is displayed when a user attempts sharing after a WCS server network failure. Screensharing through proxy does not work when WCS is not using TLS. 7 Description of Issue "Starting desktop sharing" popup might not close when the Application sharing is cancelled. This section details the list of issues that were resolved in version Table 3: Resolved Issues version Description of Issue Scopia P2S2 - Slider SDC_WCC and Scopia Mobile do not work when enabling Encryption (Best Effort or Strong Encryption ) is enabled on MCU Prevent WCS restart when VCGW restarted. Red Hat GHOST defect. The Default root user password access has been removed. SDC displays a grey screen whne a Presentation form LifeSize Room 220 Endpoint is shared. The Bit-rate between WCGW and VCGW can be decreased but cannot be increased. Unit Media processing resources are blocked when full 50 Conferences load is reached. WCS Certificate Signing Request (CSR) creation in Scopia Management is missing mandatory State/Province definition. Known Issues In some cases a Web Collaboration session may require a bandwidth of up to 300KB additional to the bandwidth used for video and audio. SIP content sharing (BFCP) media between the Web Collaboration server and Elite MCU cannot be encrypted. The Web Collaboration server must be placed in the DMZ in order to allow remote clients to connect to it. In this case the Web Collaboration server should be configured with a public IP address. The Slider functionality is not available when using the whiteboard. When several participants attempt to share at the same time some of them might loose ability to share. In this case those participants would need to leave and rejoin the meeting in order to be able to share again. The shared Presentation might be disconnected when the available bandwidth is 64K (symmetric) or less. Web Collaboration requires at least 128 Kbps additional to the bandwidth used for video and audio. Release Notes for Avaya Scopia Web Collaboration Server Known Issues 7

8 Changing the FQDN field of the WCS via Scopia Management when login to a meeting from any SDC a FIXME error message is displayed. As WCS does not support working in the DMZ behind SBCE, the public IP needs to be configured as the FQDN address. Scopia Mobile gets black screen instead of whiteboard screen when receives whiteboard sharing without drawings. When a Web Collaboration Client is presenting and a H.239 Client takes the presentation the Slider Button in the Web Collaboration Client is not displayed anymore. Windows 10 support: When a user shares an application it is added to the list of recently shared applications, so the user can switch quickly beetween the applications. The title of a closed Modern Application is visible in the list of recently shared applications for approximately one second, later it disappears. Scopia Web Collaboration Client (WCC): in application sharing only the QWERTY keyboard is supported for remote control. Copyright, Licensing and Credits End User License Terms. For Licensee's Products distributed to end users pursuant to a software license agreement, Licensee shall include the following terms and conditions: 1. Java Technology Restrictions.
