Internal assessments at the University revealed several issues with relevance to teaching and learning that need improvement. BU sees educational technology as a possibility to improve the quality of lecturing at university level and to enhance teaching methods to meet the challenge of the modern world. To achieve these goals there is a need to introduce and integrate educational technology and the new pedagogical methods modern technology enables in the training of BU staff to qualify them at both knowledge and skill levels. In summary, the project will respond to the following specific needs of BU: education of teachers in the importance of educational technology, training of teachers on how to best use educational technology in their teaching, development of training material and human resources in the area of educational technology and integratration of educational technology into teaching. The needs of ICP and MEC specifically include: Enhancing the capacity building programs provided by ICP by employing up to date Technology. Formation of learning communities and promotion of exchange of experiences among participants through utilisation of educational technology. 2

4 The main beneficiaries are the teachers and other staff of BU, whose basic skills in using technology in education will be developed and their knowledge of its potential and usage will increase. The strategic goals of BU for developing the quality of teaching requires well trained teachers who have assimilated current best practices in education and are able to effectively integrate educational technology into their curricula. In addition to the direct capacity building of the teachers and staff, the project focuses on building the capacity and resources of ICP s subdivision MEC in offering the professional services in educational technology and blended learning that the utilisation of these new pedagogical solutions requires. Other parties who will benefit from the development of teaching skills and support services relating to modern teaching methodologies are BU and its faculties and departments and finally, indirectly the students at BU, who will benefit from improved quality and diversified methods of teaching. Key Objectives: The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of lecturing and the modern pedagogical skills of lecturers through integration of educational technology at university level in Palestine. The specific objectives of the project are divided into two sub programmes as follows: 1) to empower ICP and its Media Education Centre MEC to be able to provide services in educational technology internally at BU and in outreach programs. 2) to build up the capacity of teachers and other staff of BU in the field of educational technology. The objectives of the project are a direct response to needs arising from BU s internal evaluation, and reflect several issues in BU s Proposed Strategic Directions & Action Plans focused on improving teaching and learning. This capacity building project has a three phased approach. First, it focuses on developing the institutional capacity of the institution responsible for management development in Uganda the Uganda Management Institute (UMI) as well as enhancing the capacity of experts in curriculum development at the School of Education, Makerere University, in the theoretical and practical dynamics of university leadership and management. Second, the project partners jointly develop modules for a postgraduate diploma in university leadership and management at Uganda Management Institute in order to enable the Institute to professionalise serving and prospective university leaders and managers in Uganda and the East African region. Third, the modules of the diploma are pilot tested by training academic leaders and administrative staff at Makerere University (and other universities). (i) Key Objectives: Train, retool and equip academic staff at Uganda Management Institute (UMI) in partnership with academic staff at the School of Education in Makerere University (MU) with new skills and knowledge of higher education and the theoretical and practical dynamics of university leadership and management (ii) (iii) Jointly develop a diploma programme on university leadership and management at Uganda Management Institute (UMI) to strengthen the capacity of the Institute to train and build up competences for professional management and leadership of higher education institutions in Uganda and East Africa Pilot test modules of the diploma programme using training academic leaders and administrative staff from Makerere University (MU) to strengthen the leadership and management capacity of the university, and also evaluate the aptness of the diploma programme and fine tune it prior to its accreditation and full implementation. 4

Auala, University of Namibia Network Member Institutions: University of Namibia Brief Description of the project: The main objective of the project is to collaborate in building sustainable and high quality pre primary and lower primary teacher education at the University of Namibia. The rationale for the project is that there are not enough qualified teachers in pre primary and lower primary education in Namibia and the significance of the early years in the later development and school success of the children is nowadays widely recognised in the country. The University of Namibia has recently started Bachelor and Master s level degree programmes in pre primary and lower primary teacher education, and one of the aims is to support and develop these programmes. This will be achieved through joint curriculum development and capacity building of the teacher education teachers. Key Objectives: Focus areas of the programme: 1. B.Ed. Early Childhood Education teacher education programme curriculum development 2. Strengthen and support existing Bachelor of Education (Pre and Lower Primary) education programmes where needed. 3. Capacity building of teachers working in the Pre primary and Lower Primary B.Ed. and M.Ed. programmes The activities include seminars, both in Finland and Namibia, joint curriculum development and joint development of materials. 5

7 HEI ICI Network Fact Sheet: Centre for the Promotion of Literacy in sub Saharan Africa (CAPOLSA) Network Focus Areas: Education, Special Education, Psychology, Linguistics Project Award Number: HEI ICI 2010 P HEI ICI Grant: Network Coordinating Institution: University of Jyväskylä (JYU) Responsible Coordinator(s) and contact Details: At JYU Professor Heikki Lyytinen, Head of Planning & Development Päivi Fadjukoff, At UNZA Professor Robert Serpell, Network Member Institutions: University of Zambia, Lusaka, Zambia Brief Description of the project: The aim of the CAPOLSA project is to establish a strong literacy centre with international visibility and impact, specifically in African countries facing similar challenges to Zambia. The literacy training approach is based on the Grapho Learning Initiative and the innovative and efficient digitalbased learning game, GraphoGame that has been developed based on scientific studies led by Professor Heikki Lyytinen. CAPOLSA activities include: 1. Collaborative training of experts who will in turn be able to instruct teachers in the colleges, and their activities associated with reading instruction 2. Building a technology support system of reading instruction (Graphogame) and capacity of the centre s personnel to be able to support its wide usage in Zambia. A special emphasis will be put on the transition from the acquisition of reading skills in familiar local languages, to the acquisition of reading skills in English. 3. Collaborative development of facilities and expertise needed for the production of written material in familiar languages motivating children to apply their initial reading skills to help them to develop a functional reading skill. The project brings together a capacity building agenda (post graduate training) at Zambia s leading university, a requirement by the Zambian government for policy oriented research and development in a priority field of public education (promotion of universal basic literacy), and an emerging programme of international research collaboration on optimising conditions for initial literacy acquisition. 6

8 Key Objectives: The final goal of the project is to build an efficiently functioning resource centre for supporting African children in learning to read the language they are able to speak. Throughout the project, the centre will be supported in order to have the ability and facilities to 1. populate databases with the connections between written and spoken languages (ie. appropriate units of the orthographies of African languages (during the first stage it will be those of Bantu languages), 2. train teachers and their teachers about optimal ways to instruct children in acquiring reading skills 3. distribute and support the opportunity to use technology supported learning environments for reading acquisition among children who have not otherwise learned to read before the end of the first grade 4. guarantee the effective creation of reading material for children who have learned the basic reading skill in order to help them acquire functional reading skill The effective working Centre s mandate will be to support 1. promotion of support for children s acquisition of literacy in Zambian languages among parents, families and pre school teachers 2. provision of technical support for the curriculum and instruction to the various training institutions mandated to prepare teachers for initial literacy instruction in the nation s lower primary school grades 3. creation, collation and dissemination of child friendly reading materials in the Zambian languages used as media for initial literacy instruction, and 4. development of guidelines for the harmonisation of orthographies across the different Bantu languages as used in the various countries of sub Saharan Africa 5. specialised, advanced education of a critical mass of expertise at UNZA for the conduct of such research. As the Centre is piloting and developing best practises for supporting literacy that can be applied in other African countries as well, the beneficiaries in the longer term will be children throughout Africa and possibly developing countries globally. 9 Network Member Institutions: University of Zambia (Zambia), University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) Brief Description of the project: The overall objective of the cooperation is to develop national capacity for the local ownership of development policies in Tanzania and Zambia through the production of highly qualified professionals. The aim of the four universities is to obtain better functioning Development Studies departments at UDSM and UNZA that offer quality teaching and produce competent professionals by collaborating for capacity building. Translated into the level of result areas, for staff development, the above objective consists of a competent, gender balanced teaching staff that makes use of a variety of teaching methods from lectures to participatory learning and uses material from books to electronic journals. It also includes a sufficient number of qualified supervisors for the supervision of Master s theses, and at UDSM also PhD proposals and PhD theses. As for the result area of curriculum development, the above overall objective implies that at UDSM the MA and PhD programmes have relevant, quality course contents that meet the interests of students and the job market (including the government). At UNZA, the objective is to have a consolidated MA programme that has feedback and evaluation systems in place and course contents that serve the demands of students and the job market. In terms of internet based materials, the objective at both universities is to have a library equipped with a selection of international e journals. In the case of administrative development and the international office at UNZA, the objective is to enhance the administrative capacity of UNZA to run the MA programme and participate actively in programmes for international collaboration, exchange and capacity building in accordance with clearly formulated aims and policies. Key Objectives: Staff development: 12 staff and student members have completed a research methodology course; 6 PhD students are ready to submit their PhD proposals. Curriculum development: Curricula for academically excellent courses, modules and programmes are developed. Internet based resources are efficiently appropriated for teaching and thesis work. 10 HEI ICI Grant: Network Coordinating Institution: Aalto University School of Economics Responsible Coordinator(s) and contact Details: Povilas Valiauga, ph.no Network Member Institutions: Faculty of Commerce Cairo University (FCCU) Brief Description of the project: The aim of the project Entrepreneurship Capacity Building between the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University and Aalto University School of Economics is to strengthen the capacity for education in entrepreneurship in the partnering institution (FCCU). Following the national higher education reform strategy, the essential goals of Cairo University are to advance the Egyptian economy and students labour market competencies. It also aims to expand the scope of cooperation with industry and encourage research that has a direct effect on economic development, as well as provide more relevant research from an economic development point of view. A broad understanding of entrepreneurship serves these needs. Namely, how individuals and organisations create and implement new ideas and ways of doing things, respond proactively to their environment, and thus initiate change involving various degrees of uncertainty and complexity whilst focusing on opportunity discovery and exploitation. Thus entrepreneurship education can produce an expanded direct impact on the Egyptian economy and society. The project Entrepreneurship Capacity Building between the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University and Aalto University School of Economics comprises of three interactive pillars which will meet the needs of 1) Collaborating Egyptian universities 2) students and the staff of the FCCU and 3) current and aspiring entrepreneurs. The first pillar consists of activating collaboration between Egyptian universities and organizing an arena for their meetings to enhance entrepreneurship education. It is obvious that since these needs are new and have received little attention in education there will be a requirement to increase collaboration between universities to educate young generation as agents of change in and for Egyptian universities. The second pillar contains capacity building in 1) increasing the awareness of entrepreneurship as a career opportunity and as a way of behaviour in working life to FCCU students 2) developing degree education, 3) enhancing teachers competencies in entrepreneurship as well as 4) developing a research community in the FCCU. The third pillar consists of cooperation to devise an outreach plan for the recently founded small business centre in FCCU to meet the needs of current and aspiring entrepreneurs. The outreach plan for the small business centre contains incubator and start up activities, continuous education and training for entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs, business advisers, teachers and trainers. It also offers coordination for these activities and a platform for collaboration in advancing women entrepreneurship. 9

11 Key Objectives: The overall objective of the project is to: 1) Advance entrepreneurship education capacity of the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University (FCCU) 2) Adopt a broad understanding of entrepreneurship, and to enhance entrepreneurship education offered in Egyptian universities The specific objective drawn from the overall objective is to: 1) Increase the capacity of FCCU in developing and adopting entrepreneurship education activities in research, teaching and outreach; 2) Enhance developing entrepreneurship education on offer in other Egyptian universities. Brief Description of the project: The University of Namibia (UNAM) Library is facing several challenges; the shortage of skilled staff in critical areas of modern librarianship results in sub standard information services provided to the user community. In addition, limited resources reduce the library s ability to make meaningful contributions to quality teaching and research output. The UNAM Library sought professional support from the experienced libraries of the University of Helsinki and the University of Tampere to assist in developing and strengthening the capacity of the UNAM Library. 10

The chair of board is University Librarian Ellen Namhila at UNAM library, the director of the project is University Librarian Professor Kaisa Sinikara at Helsinki University The library and the scientific director of the project is University Librarian Docent Mirja Iivonen attampere University Library. Other board members are Deputy University Librarian Joseph Ndinoshiho at UNAM Library, Project Manager Elise Pirttiniemi at Helsinki University Library, and Head of Department Leena Toivonen at Tampere University Library. The expected results from this institutional cooperation are: Skills are gained by UNAM Librarians in process analysis and policy development; Academic writing skills and research output by UNAM Librarians are improved; UNAM Librarians are equipped with relevant skills in Information Literacy development; Pedagogical skills are acquired by librarians & IL instruction is implemented effectively at UNAM; UNAM Library collection development policy is updated to accommodate modern information tools and resources; Specialised subject digital information services are devised and provided to UNAM students and staff; Digital and print collections are aligned to UNAM curriculum and research programmes; UNAM Library marketing strategy and plans are devised; The quality and standards of service delivery at UNAM Library are enhanced. Joint seminars, including many workshops in Namibia once or twice a year, gather most of the staff at the UNAM library together with Finnish experts to listen presentations, plan how to put new ideas into practice, make contact with colleagues, and to find mentors. The seminar programmes are made jointly with all 3 university libraries by listening to the wishes of UNAM library. The seminar presentations and feedback will be kept on a Wiki site to which all participants have an access. UNAM staff study visits in Finland and in house training for 4 weeks will help them to familiarise themselves with the topics they mostly need, and to benchmark Finnish university libraries way to act. The study visit reports also will be on the Wiki. During the IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations) conference in Helsinki in August 2012 some UNAM library staff members had an excellent opportunity to listen to top experts in the information and library field, hear about trends in libraries, and to meet colleagues from around the world. Key Objectives: Strategic developing and planning skills, process analysis and policy development; Quality assurance and benchmarking; Research and academic writing, copyright and publishing; Content development for Information Literacy (IL) instruction; Pedagogical skills to impart IL skills to students and academic staff; Expertise in collection development and management; Modern practices for providing access to electronic information resources; Methods of marketing library products and services to university teachers and students. 11

Brief Description of the project: The project facilitates Quant Tri Teacher Training College s (QTTTC) capacity to develop its action, to strengthen its regional role and to provide education relevant to working life. The desired situation is that QTTTC as an educational institution will acquire the necessary educational management and leadership skills to respond, in a self directive way, to the challenges that policy level higher education sector reform raises in Vietnam. Within the project, the concept of educational leadership and management skills covers the following areas: anticipation of changes in society and the future needs of students; strategic development and renewal of an educational institution; the building of social networks and inter organisational relationships; interest group cooperation; leading and motivating people; developing organisational culture; and promoting interpersonal relationships and cooperation. In the project, the students active role as learners and their previous experiences (competences) are emphasised, as well as the importance of networking and learning at work. The main approach for capacity building is competences improvement while no investments are made. The capacity building activities include two training programmes, one for the administrative staff and the other for the teaching staff of QTTTC. The two training programmes overlap in the form of joint kick off and final seminars, and thematic seminar days during the program to support comprehensive organisational development. The capacity building activities also include a one week Training of Trainers (ToT) training period in order to further strengthen the ownership of QTTTC for capacity building efforts, and to support the contextual relevance of the activities and to guarantee sustainability of the achieved results 12

14 Key Objectives: The purpose of the project is that QTTTC, as an educational institution, acquires the necessary educational management and leadership skills to, in a self directive way, respond to the challenges the policy level higher education sector renovation raises in Vietnam. Achieving the project purpose will contribute to the wider development objective of both QTTTC and regional educational authorities in that in the future, QTTTC will deliver quality training programs that reflect the local labour market needs and enhance regional integration. As one result of the project, QTTTC will have a strengthened credit based curriculum management system and related quality assurance tools in place. In practice, this means that certain process descriptions, models and tools are either revised or created, including a competence framework for staff, a bottom up feedback system, an institutional self assessment tool, and strengthened strategic thinking and action planning in relation to labour market needs. Special emphasis will be placed on the issues of networking, analysis of interest groups and learning at work. As another project result, QTTTC will have teaching staff that are acquainted with new pedagogical methods supporting credit based curriculum implementation. In practice, this means implementation of more learnercentred and active teaching/learning methods; improved skills in planning, leading and assessing learning (incl. peer assessment and student assessment); participation of teachers in institutional development and emphasising new learning environments (learning at work, working life connections); as well as the existence of credit based course descriptions with working life relevance. Special emphasis will be placed upon teachers educational leadership and management skills. Brief Description of the project: The overall aim is to enhance the management and conservation of forests and other tree resources in Kenya for a sustainable environment and socio economic development, including 13

15 gender issues, as stated in the Kenya Forestry Policy, through improved forestry education in the country. This will be done by the capacity building of forestry education at Moi University utilizing the expertise in forestry and ICT of the University of Eastern Finland by the training of teachers in new learning methodologies including improving educational materials and practices, and through the provision of support and training on the use of ICT in education Key Objectives: Key objectives are: (i) the review of forestry education policy and curriculum to re define the role of forestry professionals, including emerging national and global issues; (ii) the development and dissemination of modern and relevant learning materials/resources; (iii) the use of ICT in generating new skills and competencies among forestry professionals; (iv) the development of quality assurance systems in forestry education; and (v) networking to enhance awareness of the role of forestry in local, national and international development. The University of Eastern Finland has the experience and skills needed to assist in organisational development and reform, and to develop and strengthen teaching capacities at Moi University. The following are the main concrete objectives and activities to achieve this Objective1: Forestry curriculum reflects the needs of local and global societies Activity 1.1: Survey local and international educational needs and emerging issues in forestry. The people to be surveyed shall include forestry alumni, industry, academics, NGOs, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders Activity 1.2: A seminar for staff on emerging local, national and international issues in forestry. Activity 1.3: Curriculum review and update by stakeholders and the scientific community taking into account new concepts of social, political, and the economic demands of the national and international society. Objective 2: ICT methods are integrated and effectively used in forestry education Activity 2.1: Development of ICT teaching facilities and an educational platform relevant to the needs of forestry education at Moi University, using the expertise, strengths and experience of the University of Eastern Finland. Activity 2.2: Design and implementation of pilot integrative forestry and ICT courses and assignments. Development and implementation of a model course using modern pedagogical methods and ICT. To help achieve this goal the project which is coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and supported by the North Karelia University of Applied Sciences (NKUAS) aims to build health related capacities in selected African partner institutions. The project will help to produce a new pool of skilled public health experts, who are able to address major public health challenges and independently sustain future higher education structures in their own countries. The project is an attempt to promote higher educational teaching programs (Master s programs, smaller modules) in public health and other related disciplines through a network of internationally recognized professionals. The project aims to assist the development of future leaders in public health sciences within three partners institutions: University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, Kenya (UEAB), Catholic University of Health Sciences, Tanzania (CUHAS) and Ain Shams University, Egypt (ASU). Emphasis will be on planning, implementation and quality assessment of teaching public health sciences with an ultimate goal to improve population health in Africa. 19 Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Department of IT Cape Town, South Africa Brief Description of the project: INDEHELA (Informatics Development for Health in Africa) is a long term initiative to strengthen the capacity of participating African higher education institutions to contribute to socio economic and human development in their countries, particularly in the scientific field of Health Informatics (HI) and the practice of e health. The most recent part of the initiative, the INDEHELA ICI (Institutional Collaboration Instrument for Informatics Development for Health in Africa) project, is funded by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) within the new Higher Education Institutions Institutional Collaboration Instrument (HEI ICI) programme. The project focuses on developing the capacities of three African HEIs in HI and e health education. The long term general objective of the African HEIs in the INDEHELA initiative is to better contribute to socio economic and human development, particularly health, in their countries; this is in accordance with Finnish HEIs societal responsibility / social impact mandate ( kolmas tehtävä ). The specific objective of the INDEHELA ICI collaboration is to develop the capacities of OAU, UEM and CPUT in HI and e health in three specific areas: 1) Staff development; 2) Educational capacity development; 3) Administrative capacity development. The long term objectives are set for the timeframe of 3 5 years (two funding periods), to achieve a sustainable status. The results targets of the first funding phase are set for the timeframe of 18 months for the three result areas as follows. 1) Staff development: The core groups of 6 10 junior and 3 5 senior staff have been identified with each junior staff member having a feasible postgraduate degree plan / proposal approved; Supervisors have been appointed and African Finnish co supervision / mentoring groups established. 2) Educational capacity development: Each African partner HEI has the curriculum and a timed plan for implementing its Masters and/or certificate programme, the first modules have been designed, the teaching / learning methods set, and at least one pilot module implemented in each African partner HEI. 3) Administrative capacity development: A Project Coordinator with good organising skills has been identified and employed in each African partner HEI, legal and financial project administration practices have been created within each HEI and at the international level, personal development plans approved for each project manager. The core activities required to achieve the results are workshops at all African partner HEIs. In staff development workshops, senior experts from both African and European partner HEIs provide lectures, group supervision and personal supervision to the junior staff selected for the staff development activity. In educational development workshops, senior experts from all partner HEIs work hands on together to develop the curricula, plans, methods and materials adjusted to each African partner HEI s requirements. Other activities include planning, preparation, reporting and writing tasks by the Project Coordinators group and the senior experts, using internet based facilities, as well as 18

Network Member Institutions: University of Upper Nile and University of Juba; and RoSS MAF/ Directorate of Forestry as a sub partner Brief Description of the project: The LAMPTESS Project started in May 2008 and ran to March 2010 under another funding program of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, which supported capacity building between one northern and one southern state organisation between VITRI of the University of Helsinki and the GoSS MAF/ Directorate of Forestry. Two southern Sudanese Universities of Upper Nile and Juba involved as sub partners already in this first phase. The project was thereafter to continue under another financing program, the actual start up of the HEI ICI Program was substantially delayed and LAMPTESS continued in 2010 as a micro project supporting the project s demofarm operations in Renk. In May 2011 the LAMPTESS project started up again, but this time the southern Sudanese partners were on the brink of becoming South Sudanese partners after the declaration of independence from Sudan on 9th July, The current main South Sudanese partners are the Upper Nile University/ Faculties of Foresty and Range Sciences and Agriculture; and the University of Juba/ College of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, while the RoSS Directorate of Forestry is a sub partner to LAMPTESS. The Finnish partner, Viikki Tropical Resources Institute of University of Helsinki (VITRI) has about 30 years of experience from Sudan in various pragmatic development cooperation and research projects that have, over these years, been financed by several financiers. VITRI is an expert organisation specialised, among other things, in land and vegetation rehabilitation on drylands (particularly agroforestry) requiring multi disciplinary approaches such as social, ecological, environmental, and economic considerations for its implementation. 19

21 For efficient implementation of the Partner institutions tasks, the LAMPTESS project provide some interventions for strengthening of the key stakeholder institutions which also incorporate some pilot communities. The planned interventions focus mainly on three elements: 1) Human capacity building which refers to training of individuals; 2) Institutional capacity building that is intended to foster an enabling environment for enhancing implementation of various rural development practices and concepts with the aim of acting as a model for South Sudanese rural areas; and 3) Substantial field operations together with various stakeholders in order to develop permanent dialogues and joint practical planning models for rural development practices for the future. The current phase of the LAMPTESS Project started in May 2011 and is ending in December 2012 after which it is likely to continue with another two years (current anticipation). For UNU and other stakeholders in Renk County the main activities include the following operations. Various upgrading of educational capacity and other institutional building at UNU in Renk; Demonstration of farm operations and research capacity support for UNU in Renk County; Re starting of extension services in the main project area of Renk County, including a fairly comprehensive Landscape Management Plan (LMP) for this area and outline GIS maps for the whole of the county; Support for the establishment of a new large scale central nursery (500,000 seedlings) and two community forest nurseries; Community forest lands established in Renk County as well as substantial out planting of tree seedlings on state lands; At UJ/CNRES in Juba the main activities include the following operations: Educational capacity and other institutional building at UoJ in Juba; A training course on rural development practices, international forest policies, and forest business management; Continuous,monitoring of the forest and environmental situation in Southern Sudan; Key Objectives: Overall Objective: The strengthening of Southern Sudanese human resources at UNU and UoJ to improve natural resources management and promote rural development with particular emphasis on Renk County in Upper Nile State and on the Juba/Kagelu areas of Central Equatoria State. Project Purpose: To build up capacity at the Faculties of Forestry and Range Sciences as well as Agriculture at University of Upper Nile and at the Centre of Natural Resources Management and Environmental Studies at University of Juba in order to deliver a decisive contribution to the improvement of Southern Sudanese natural resources management and rural development through better education of graduates, taking a direct leading role in rural development and in finding new solutions to increasing climate change challenges. RESULT 1. Project Management and Reporting: To provide the necessary project management structure for the implementation of LAMPTESS in Renk County (Upper Nile State) and in Juba and Kagelu areas (Central Equatoria State) and further to communicate progress to the CIMO/HEI ICI PCU in Finland Project Steering Committees functioning in Renk and Juba; Project team mobilised to Sudan and relevant local experts participating in project work; 20
