Other allowances are as per the applicable rules/regulations of UJVN Limited. Job Specifications:- Qualifications Experience Upper Age limit M.Sc. (Geology) /M.Tech. in Minimum 12 Years post qualification 48 years Applied Geology or relevant experience of working as equivalent with Geologist/Sr. Geologist, out of which 02 specialization in years in next below grade in the pre-revised Engineering Geology from a scale of Rs (CDA) / revised recognized university/ pay Band -3 Rs GP of Rs. institute. 6600/7600 or Rs (IDA) prerevised/ revised scale of Rs (E4) (IDA) or equivalent in Govt. Deptt./ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Corporations. The experience should be in the field of:- Study of composition, structure and history of earth's crust e.g. rocks, minerals and fossil remain to identify and determine sequence of processes affecting development of earth. Application of geological knowledge to engineering problems encountered in planning, design, construction, operation and safety of projects such as dams, tunnels and buildings. Study & preparation of Geological/Environmental data, reports and maps. Interpretation of data and recommendation for further study or action.

2 GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. Hands-on working experience in a computerized environment is essential. 2. The candidate must possess fair knowledge of usages of spoken and written Hindi and English. 3. Other things being equal, preference will be given to persons having experience of working in Uttarakhand. 4. The candidates serving in Central/State Government Deptt./Public Sector Undertaking are required to submit their application through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview, which will also incorporate that there is no vigilance/disciplinary case pending or under contemplation against the individual. 5.
