4 MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL... Our bathroom mirrors aren t just the fairest of them all. They incorporate a host of innovative features to make them useful too. DAB radio & multi-media Tune into your favourite breakfast radio show or listen to music from your media device with our Audio-Image mirror. This feature-packed LED mirror is the first to include both DAB and FM radio as well as inputs for SD memory card, USB, smart phones and other portable media devices. Incorporating high quality integrated speakers and touch-sensitive controls, this mirror is the pinnacle of mirror technology. Lighting effects All mirrors in our Clarity range include lighting features to help brighten up your bathroom. Take your pick of either LED or fluorescent back lighting. LED mirrors, with their starburst lighting effects, add a touch of glamour to your bathroom. And they re not just pretty, you can expect 60,000 hours of continuous use from the LED lamps. Alternatively our backlit mirrors provide brilliant illumination with fluorescent lamps set in clean crisp shapes to enhance your bathroom s design. Heated demister pad Our Audio Image and Clarity mirrors* are fitted with heated demister pads, making steamed up mirrors a thing of the past. The pad heats up the mirror a few degrees above room temperature within two or three minutes, keeping the central area of the mirror clear. *except Atom and Apollo Infra-red on/off switch Our illuminated mirrors* are turned on and off using a no touch infra-red switch, helping to keep it clear of fingerprints. *except Atom and Apollo which feature an on/off pull cord. Important: When mounting the mirror, the sensor switch must be at least 150mm from an adjacent wall or obstruction to ensure the switch can function properly Recharging Sockets A number of our mirrors include a recharging socket suitable for electric shavers and toothbrushes conveniently hidden away in the body of the mirror. Five of our mirrors also feature ambient lighting. This low-key lighting effect casts a subtle glow over the wall and basin, helping to create a relaxing mood in your bathroom. Look out for the ambient lighting logo. Digital Clocks Keep track of time with a mirror that incorporates a digital clock. Tempus and Audio-Image mirrors both include this handy feature. 5 Corona magnifying mirror Our popular Corona backlit mirror features a circular magnifying mirror, enlarging things to double their size. IP44 All our Clarity mirrors comply with electrical equipment (safety) regulations and are IP44 rated, making them suitable for use within zone 2 of the bathroom environment. See page 25 for further information. Tapered Body Our Encode and Status mirrors benefit from a tapered body profi le giving an elegant, fl oating effect. Easy to install Our mirrors are easy to install. We strongly recommend that mirrors with lighting effects are installed by a qualified electrician. Landscape or portrait Most of our mirrors can be mounted landscape or portrait to suit your bathroom layout. Mirrors with features such as built-in shelving, digital clocks and some decorative designs can be hung one way only. 5

25 TECHNICAL INFORMATION Zones for electrical equipment in close proximity to bath and showers Roper Rhodes backlit and LED mirrors have been independently tested for compliance with electrical equipment (safety) regulations. All Clarity mirrors are IP44 water resistance rated and are suitable for use in zone 2 and outside zones in the bathroom. Important notes Clarity mirrors must be mounted so that the sensor switch is a minimum of 150mm from an adjacent wall or obstruction to ensure function of the sensor switch. If a mirror is mounted portrait, the sensor is located on the bottom right hand edge of the mirror. If mounted landscape, the sensor switch is located on the bottom left hand corner. The sensor can be repositioned if necessary to avoid obstacles.
