Baby & Kids Xeroderm SPF40 Sunscreen is a SPF 40 and a broad-spectrum sunscreen, offering high and photo stable UVA / UVB protection. Use at least 30 minutes prior to your baby s exposure to the sun. It is made from the purist BP grade mineral oil on the market. Contains no perfume or colourants that can harm or irritate the skin. It is mild enough for use on babies, young children and the elderly. Contains Benzalkonium Chloride for the treatment of Staphyloccus infections in children. Apply directly to the skin. 6 Epizone E Epizone E Bath Emollients This is an emulsifying ointment ideal for the treatment of very dry skin conditions, such as Eczema or Psoriasis. Epizone E contains no perfumes or colourants that can harm the skin. It is an ideal soap substitute when lathered with warm water and is safe to use on babies and other sensitive skins. Epizone E can also be used as a barrier ointment, especially effective on chapped hands, elbows and cracked heels. Epizone E can also be used as a base product for topical mixtures, like cortisone ointments. Emollients soothe, smooth and hydrate the skin and are indicated for all dry or scaling skin condition. Their effects are short lived and they should be applied frequently even when improvement occurs. Skin diseases are common in South Africa and other parts of the world. For patients with Atopic Dermatitis, emollients and moisturizers are the mainstay of treatments and therefore Epizone A and Epizone E are essential to these patients. 9 Epizone Heel Balm Epizone Heel Balm Dry Skin Care Epizone Heel Balm is a rich, moisturising cream containing Urea and Salicylic Acid. Both these ingredients act as a keratolytic. Keratolytics are used for their skin smoothing effects by removing excessive scaling. Epizone Heel Balm contains no perfume or colourants. Epizone Heel Balm can be used on very dry skin such as cracked and calloused heels. It can also be used on dry elbows. Apply gradually to dry cracked skin or heels after bathing. Massage Epizone Heel Balm until absorbed. In severe cases use a pumice stone to remove excess skin on the heels. Apply a second layer. Repeat twice daily until skin is smooth.
