The Guarantee and Alimentary Certification remain valid only if the printer is used exclusively with Modecor brand consumables (cartridges, spare parts, inks, etc.). Installazione stampante e prima accensione - Printer set-up 1. Disimballare la stampante Conservare gli imballi originali per la garanzia Unpack the printer keep original packaging for warranty. 2. Agganciare il cassetto posteriore (1) inserendo le guide negli appositi svasi della stampante (2) Attach the rear tray (1) by inserting the guides in the appropriate inserts on the printer (2) 3. Avvitare la vite di sicurezza del cassetto alla stampante Fix the safety screw of the rear tray to the printer. 4. Collegare il cavo della stampante al cassetto Connect the printer cable to the rear tray 5. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione Connect the power cord to the printer 6. Accendere la stampante Switch on the printer GETTING STARTED 2

3 7. Selezionare la lingua e il paese Select your language and country 8. Selezionare ora legale Select daylight saving time 9. Selezionare il formato data Select date format 10. Immettere la data Enter the date 11. Selezionare il formato ora Select time format GETTING STARTED 3

4 12. Immettere l ora Enter hour 13. Aprire il coperchio della stampante e del carrello cartucce Raise the printer cover and the carriage cover 14. Rimuovere la striscia gialla dalle cartucce (ATTENZIONE: controllare che il foro presente sotto il nastro protettivo sia completamente libero) First remove the yellow strip form the cartridge (WARNING: Check that the hole is completely free of the protective film and any eventual residues) 15. Inserire il serbatoio nel corretto alloggiamento nella stampante, premere sul serbatoio d inchiostro fino a quando non risulta in posizione. Insert the ink tank in the correct position. 16. Ripetere queste operazioni con tutti i serbatoi Install the other ink tanks in the same manner 17. Chiudere il coperchio della stampante e del carrello cartucce Close the printer cover and the carriage cover 18. Attendere la fine dell installazione Wait until the process is completed GETTING STARTED 4

5 Installazione software - Install the software 1. Inserire il cd del software nel computer Insert the set-up cd-rom 2. Accettare il contenuto del contratto di licenza e cliccare su avanti Accept all contracts and click next 3. Cliccare su Installa Click Install GETTING STARTED 5

6 4. Attendere il completamento dell installazione Wait until installation is fully completed 5. Nel caso escano dei messaggi cliccare su Continua In case of warning message click next GETTING STARTED 6

7 6. Selezionare Connessione cablata USB e cliccare Avanti Select USB cable connection, then click Next GETTING STARTED 7

8 7. Quando richiesto collegare la stampante al computer ed accenderla; attendere la fine dell installazione When requested connect the printer to the computer and switch on; wait until installation is complete. GETTING STARTED 8

9 8. Selezionare No già fatto o impostare in seguito e cliccare Avanti ed attendere Select No, then click Next GETTING STARTED 9

10 9. Selezionare Non installare e cliccare Successivo Select Do not install, then click Next GETTING STARTED 10

12 Pannello di comandi - Operation panel a. Accende/spegne la stampante Turns on/off printer b. Accede al modo Foto Enters photo mode c. Consente di cambiare la visualizzazione delle foto o di ritagliare le foto Changes the view of photos or crops the photos d. Accede al modo Copia Enters copy mode e. Cambia le impostazioni di Zoom per la copia Changes the Reduce/Enlarge settings for copying f. Il display LCD mostra foto e menu LCD screen displays photos and menus g. Seleziona le foto e i menu. 13 Impostazione qualità consigliata da stampante Quality settings 1. Entrare nel menu copia Select copy from the main menu 2. premere il tasto Impostazione press the Menu key 3. Selezionare Impostazioni Carta e Copia e premere il tasto OK Select Paper and Copy Settings and press OK 4. Selezionare la voce qualità e premere OK Select Quality option and press OK 5. Selezionare qualità MAX e confermare con OK Select Best quality and confirm pressing OK 6. Selezionare la voce Imp.come nuove predefin. E premere OK Select Set As New Default option and confirm pressing OK GETTING STARTED 13

14 7. Confermare il salvataggio delle modifiche con il tasto OK Confirm the new settings with OK 8. Premere il tasto Fine per tornare al menù copia Press the Menu Key from back to copy menu Impostazione qualità consigliata da pc Quality settings 1. Selezionare il menù stampanti del computer Select the printers menu in the computer 2. Cliccare con il tasto destro sulla stampante e selezionare la voce Preferenze stampa Right click on the printer and select Printing Preferences 3. Nella voce qualità impostare Fine e confermare cliccando su OK In the Quality menu select Fine and click OK to confirm GETTING STARTED 14

15 Utilizzo del cassetto posteriore Use of rear tray 1. Appoggiare il foglio sul piano e regolare la grandezza delle guide Place the sheet on the rear tray and adjust the guides 2. Inserire il foglio sotto il rullo abbassa foglio Place the sheet under the roller 3. Appoggiare il bordo del supporto alla battuta del foglio del piano Place the edge of the sheet against the arrest guide. N.B. Nel cassetto posteriore va introdotto un supporto per volta PLEASE NOTE: Introduce only one sheet at a time GETTING STARTED 15

16 Eseguire una copia semplice - Copy in stand alone 1. Entrare nel menu copia Select Copy from the main menu 2. premere il tasto colore per avviare la copia press the colour copy key to start copying Eseguire una copia con adatta pagina - copy with auto fit to page 1. Entrare nel menu copia Select the Copy menu 2. Premere il tasto Impostazione press the Menu key 3. Selezionare Impostazioni Carta e Copia e premere OK Select Paper and Copy Settings and press OK GETTING STARTED 16

17 4. Selezionare Zoom e premere il tasto OK Select Reduce/Enlarge and press OK 5. Selezionare Adat.aut.pag e premere il tasto OK Select Auto Fit to Page and press OK 6. 18 Stampa di una foto da pc - Print a photo from your pc Aprire la foto che si vuole stampare con il visualizzatore di immagini di windows e cliccare sul tasto stampa Open the photo with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and press Print Entrati nella stampa guidata foto cliccare su avanti Click Next in the Photo printing wizard GETTING STARTED 18

19 Selezionare la stampante Epson e cliccare su avanti Select the Epson printer and click next Cliccare su avanti e verrà inviata la stampa alla stampante Click on Next and start printing GETTING STARTED 19

21 Stampa foto da supporto USB/Scheda memoria Printing a photo from USB memory stick/ memory card 1. Inserire la chiave USB o la scheda di memoria ed attendere che vengano caricate le foto Insert the USB memory stick/memory card and wait for the photo menu to appear 2. Selezionare il menù foto con il pulsante Photo Select the photo menu with the Photo key 3. Selezionare la voce Visualizza e stampa foto e premere OK Select View and Print Photos Paper and press OK key 4. Utilizzare le frecce e per scorrere le immagini. Utilizzare le frecce e per aumentare il numero di copie da stampare della foto visualizzata Use the arrow and to flip the image Use the arrow and to increase the number of copies 5. Una volta selezionate le immagini che si vuole stampare premere OK Once you have selected the desired images to print press OK GETTING STARTED 21

22 6. Selezionare il menù Impostazioni utilizzando il tasto Menu Select the settings menu with the Menu key 7. Selezionare il menù Impost. stampa e premere OK Select the Print Settings and press OK 8. Selezionare il menù Formato carta e premere OK Select the Paper Size menu and press OK 9. Selezionare il formato carta desiderato e premere OK Select the desired paper size and press OK 10. Selezionare il menù Tipo carta e premere OK Select the Paper Type menu and press OK 11. Selezionare il tipo carta Carta com. e premere OK Select the Plain Paper and press OK GETTING STARTED 22

23 12. Selezionare il menù Qualità e premere OK Select the Quality menu and press OK 13. Selezionare la qualità Max e premere OK Select the Best quality and press OK 14. Per salvare come predefinite le opzioni impostate selezionare la voce Imp. come nuova predefin. e premere OK Select Set As New Default option and confirm pressing OK 15. Confermare il salvataggio premendo OK Confirm the new setting by pressing OK 16. Premere il tasto Menù per tornare alla foto da stampare Press the menu key to return to the chosen photo 17. Premere il tasto Print per lanciare la stampa Press the Print key to start printing GETTING STARTED 23

24 Sostituzione cartucce - Ink Cartridge Replacement 1. Selezionare il menù impostazioni utilizzando il tasto setup Select the settings menu with the Setup key 2. Selezionare il menù Manutenzione e premere OK Select Maintenance and press OK 3. Selezionare la voce Cambio cartucce inchiostro e premere OK Select the Ink Cartridge Replacement and press OK 4. Aprire il coperchio della stampante e del carrello cartucce Raise the printer cover and the carriage cover 5. 26 Acquisizione immagine da pc - Scanning image with PC Aprire il programma EPSON Scan Open the EPSON Scan software Cliccare sul pulsante Anteprima per vedere l immagine presente sullo scanner Click on Preview to view the picture on the scanner GETTING STARTED 26

29 Selezione della lingua - Language selection 1. Selezionare il menù impostazioni utilizzando il tasto setup Select the settings menu with Setup key 2. Selezionare il menù Impost. stampante e premere OK Select the Printer Setup and press OK 3. Selezionare la Lingua/Language e premere OK Select the Language and press OK 4. Selezionare la lingua desiderata e premere OK Select the desired language and press OK to confirm 5. Tornare indietro utilizzando il tasto indietro Return to the previous menus using the back key GETTING STARTED 29

30 Eseguire la pulizia della testina - Printhead Cleaning 1. Selezionare il menù impostazioni utilizzando il tasto setup Select the settings menu with the Setup key 2. Selezionare il menù Manutenzione e premere OK Select the Maintenance menu and press OK 3. Selezionare la voce Pulizia testina e premere OK Select Printer Head Cleaning and press OK 4. Confermare premendo OK Confirm pressing OK 5. Selezionare la voce Tutti i colori e premere OK Select All Colours and press OK 6.
