Responsible for researching course design and curriculum development for middle school students. Organized admissions management of eligible students. Conducted research and prepared materials for an undergraduate junior level literature and writing course.

4 COPPELL MIDDLE SCHOOL WEST, Coppell, Texas Language Arts Department Instructor Seventh Grade Language Arts: Taught fundamentals of the writing process, grammar instruction, and spelling. Monitored student behavior and academic progress through teaming with other core subject teachers. Assessed student progress weekly and led discussions with students and their parents. Seventh and Eighth Grade Speech: Taught the principles of effective communication, formal speaking, and debate. This course helped many students advance to University Interscholastic League competitions.
