6 Research Support Ongoing Research Support Simons Foundation Chang (PI) 6/1/2015-5/31/2016 Optimizing social effects of oxytocin with opioid blocker The goal of this project is to explore whether concurrently enhancing oxytocin and attenuating opioids, using opioid blocker, will significantly boost prosocial behaviors compared to delivering either chemical alone during free viewing of social images. Role: Postdoctoral Associate R00 MH (NIMH) Chang (PI) 8/1/2014-7/31/2017 Role of oxytocin in the amygdala-prefrontal network during social decision-making The goal of this project is to investigate the mechanisms underlying oxytocin-mediated neural processing across amygdala and prefrontal neurons in social decision-making. Role: Postdoctoral Associate Completed Research Support Intramural Research Program of the NIMH, NIH Averbeck (PI) Investigate the role of the limbic circuits, with focal lesions and pharmacological manipulations, in regulating social behavior using a non-human primate model. Specifically the goal was to explore the role of neuropeptide oxytocin and the amygdala in processing social and non-social stimuli. Role: PhD Student
