5 The ESC Initiative As a consequence and a reaction on that challenge the n federal Chamber of Commerce developed d the so-called Entrepreneur s Certificate (ESC ) which provides all the required skills and knowledge to become an entrepreneur... is an additional qualification for young people to create an entrepreneurial mindset... is support by innovative learning tools & technologies (Blended learning format including award winning e-learning sequences) The Entrepreneur s Certificate... is supported by a proven electronic examination solution... leads to the awarding of an internationally recognized certificate... meets the aims of the European Commission initiative (Entrepreneurship competence) was awarded Best Practice in Oslo 2007 and Good Practice Exchange under the European charter for small enterprises
