13 Promoting competitiveness in a fullyintegrated single market EDEN (European Destinations of ExcelleNce) A European competition that takes place every year and results in the selection of a tourist destination of excellence for each participating country. The call for proposals published by the European Commission is only directed at public administrations. If you represent a local destination and you wish to compete to become an EDEN destination, you must take part in the national competition. More info: 13
