6 Rail Team The Universal rail team has a versatile range of platforms to meet your access needs. Our fleet consists of vehicle mounts from.m to m, scissor lifts from m to m, booms from m to m and an extensive range of specialist narrow access machines. To discuss your requirements please contact the Universal team. Operated and Self Drive Access Equipment Access equipment is available on an operated or self drive basis (with the relevant license). All machine operators at Universal are trained to meet IPAF standards and we have eight full time instructors available for staff training. Our instructors also offer other working at height related training courses, including PASMA Tower Training and Ladder Training. Our operators are also fully PTS certificated, for working on or adjacent to railways. At Universal we are able to carry out site surveys to determine your particular requirements and provide risk assessments and method statements. Universal holds Link-up and IPAF Rental+ accreditation. Our rail division currently works with Network Rail and London Underground and is a leading supplier to both these companies.
