2 School Concert Info Pack WHO IS CAT.CHAT? Cat.Chat is a family based ministry from Saskatchewan, Canada, which consists of The Cat.Chat Man (Gerald Montpetit in yellow), his wife Denise (in Blue), their 5 kids (in red) plus the fun and exciting, Moses the Cat. The Cat.Chat family and Moses have performed over 300 concerts in the last 6 years. Audiences have been "Wowed" by The Cat.Chat family s unique blend of ministry and entertainment. They have also filmed a TV series for kids, which consists of 8 episodes that will be aired on EWTN in the spring of WHAT IS A CAT.CHAT CONCERT? All Cat.Chat concerts are specifically geared for young families with kids (prek- grade 6). The songs are dynamic and packed with God s Word and Catholic teachings that bring children into a refreshing experience of Catholicism. The concert is filled with powerful music, crowd participation, unicycling, juggling, yo-yos, prizes, good humor, prayer times and family fun. After the concert, the Cat.Chat family and Moses the Cat stick around to take photos, sign autographs and chat with the families. This year s concert theme is: Knowing Jesus: The Ultimate One! The concert was amazing! You had the students and teachers captivated throughout the whole performance. We'd love to have Cat.Chat come back next year. Principal, Vancouver College, BC, Canada

3 CAT.CHAT SCHOOL CONCERT REQUIREMENTS: Sound/Lighting/Multi-Media: Cat.Chat Productions will provide their own sound system, sound man, lighting, LCD projector and screen. Any outdoor events must be approved through our office. Personnel: IMPORTANT Please have teachers available to monitor the children before, during and after the concert. Stage Requirements: Please provide a stage area that is a min. 20' wide and 20' deep. If a stage is not available, we can do the concert on the gym floor. Length of Concert: Generally, the concert lasts approx. 1 hour and 20 min., but can be adjusted to suit your school schedule. Product Sales: Please provide two 8 tables and allow kids, teachers and parents an opportunity to browse and purchase any Cat.Chat resources we will have available after the concert. We also provide you with a Cat.Chat flyer (for school newsletters) with details about the concert and our CDs. Meals: Please provide a light meal for our team of 4 adults and 4 kids. Even weeks later, my children continue singing the songs and talking about the concert. Thank you Cat.Chat for making a difference " The Roy family CONCERT COST: The cost of a Cat.Chat concert is $995 Bonus: We will provide you with 4 concert posters, a master concert flyer for school bulletins and 4 complimentary CDs to help promote your event in your school. Cost Recovery Ideas: Option 1: You could get another local school involved to split the cost of the concert by busing students to one location. Option 2: Ask each student participating in the concert to bring $2.00. Option 3: Ask for a sponsor, such as the local Knights of Columbus or CWL, to make a donation towards the cost of the concert. 4 PAYMENT: Payment must be made in full to "Cat.Chat Productions" on the day of the concert. CANCELLATION PROCEDURE: In the event of a concert booking cancellation by the school within 14 days of the concert, a payment of 30% of the agreed expense fees must still be paid to Cat.Chat Productions. Though it is never our intention to cancel an event, Cat.Chat reserves the right to cancel a concert for reasons of extreme sickness or "Acts of God" or severe weather conditions. A re-schedule date could be arranged with both concert coordinator and Cat.Chat Productions.
