All other coaching staff members and administrators are welcome. The meeting will be held in the Dresser Family Conference Room, on the second floor of the Alaska Airlines Center. The meeting will begin at 9:00 am. An agenda will be provided by the conference commissioner. Please send all topics to Commissioner Beaird by March 9, Host Hotel The host hotel for the 2015 MPSF Championships will be the SpringHill Suites-University Lake (4050 University Lake Drive) it located across the street from the Alaska Airlines Center. 5 Ticket and Spectator Information Ticket prices for the 2015 MPSF Women s Gymnastics Championships are as follows: Adults: $10 Youth (18 and under): $8 UAA Students: $5 Group rate: (10 or more) $6 Tickets can be purchased online at GoSeawolves.com or at the Alaska Airlines Center box office, just inside the south entrance on the Packer Pavilion. Doors for the MPSF Championships will open at 5:00 p.m. There will be no pass list for the MPSF Championships. Media Workroom Upon prior notification from media and /or sports information representatives, a workroom will be located in the Olson Conference Room on the first level of the Alaska Airlines Center. Nate Sagan will coordinate any media needs. The Championships will feature a live videostream (free) and live stats at GoSeawolves.com Admittance and Credentials The following members of the official traveling party will be admitted to the event free of charge by credential only. Twenty (20) participant passes for the traveling party per conference policy. Fifteen (15) student-athletes, plus five (5) non-participants. (The five non-participant individuals will have all-access credentials) For those in need of additional credentials above the allotted travel squad maximum for administrative personnel (administrator, SID, SWA, etc.), please contact Nate Sagan. Parking Information Teams will be given parking passes for their official vehicles upon arrival at the Alaska Airlines Center for practice day. Vehicles will park in the south main lot of the AAC. 5

6 SPORTS MEDICINE The University of Alaska Anchorage Athletic Training staff would like to welcome you to the Mills/Caldwell Sports Medicine Center located on the west side of the lower level of the Alaska Airlines Center (AAC). The Sports Medicine Center will be open two hours prior to the team practice and four hours prior to the competition, for treatments and taping. If a Visiting Team is not traveling with an Athletic Trainer, written directives of medical needs (taping and modality specifications) should be provided in advance to the Host Athletic Trainer (see medical contact information below). Our Athletic Training staff looks forward to accommodating all your sports medicine needs and offering you the best assistance possible. SUPPLIES Emergency Supplies such as an AED, Backboard, Vacuum Splints/SAM splints, will be available in the northwest corner of the competition floor. Sports Medicine Center Modalities: Ultrasound, Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Light Therapy, Moist Heat, Paraffin, Whirlpools, Ice Bags/Ice Cups, and Cold Compression Systems (BioCryo and Game Ready). Water, sports drink, ice bags, towels, stationary bike, taping table, hydrocollator, and biohazard supplies will be provided in multiple locations near the competition floor during the team practice and the competition. Treatment/Taping Table and shower towels will be provided in all Team Locker Rooms. Access to the UAA Strength and Conditioning Room for rehabilitation needs will be available upon request. Visiting Teams should provide their own taping supplies. Courtesy supplies will be provided on an as needed basis. PRACTICE AND COMPETITION MEDICAL COVERAGE A UAA Athletic Trainer will be available to assist you before, during and after the team practice and the competition. UAA Team Physicians will be on-call for the team practice. UAA Team Physicians (orthopedist and internal medicine) will be in attendance at the competition. EMS is on-call for the team practice and the competition. EMERGENT AND NON-EMERGENT CARE Participants who suffer a serious injury that requires emergency medical attention will be transported to Providence Alaska Medical Center (adjacent to the AAC). Non-emergent medical appointments can be arranged by the host Athletic Trainer utilizing a local diagnostic imaging center and/or with a UAA Team Physician. Transportation can be provided upon request. Two Urgent Care facilities are nearby for illness assessments and other routine medical care. 6
