3 WELCOME TO INDIANA Welcome to Indiana University! On behalf of the Department of Athletics at Indiana University, we look forward to hosting your volleyball team in Bloomington. Please take a few minutes to review this visiting team information packet which should help you plan your trip this season. This visitor s guide should provide all of the necessary information you may need during your visit to Indiana University. The material includes general information about Indiana University Athletics with an emphasis on specific game day operations pertaining to a home volleyball match at University Gym, the official home of Indiana Volleyball. We ask that you please complete and return the included travel forms in a timely manner so we can provide the best possible assistance during your visit. 7 GENERAL INFORMATION ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM > > The Athletic Training Room is located upstairs relative to the gym floor in University Gym. The stairs are located in the same hallway as the visiting locker-room, which is in between the east side bleachers. CONCESSIONS > > Food and refreshments are available during the match. The concession stand is located in the southeast corner of the gymnasium. MEDIA INQUIRIES > > All media inquiries should be coordinated through Jeremy Rosenthal, Assistant Director of Media Relations. Please submit all inquiries at least three days before the scheduled match. PASS LIST > > All teams should submit their typed pass list to Davis Bolsteins, Event Management, in conjunction with the Team Travel (pg. 8) and Official Team Roster (pg.9) forms before arriving in Bloomington. Pass lists can also be collected once teams arrive at the gym. For non-conference tournaments at Indiana, a pass list will need to be collected for each match. PRACTICE REQUESTS > > All requests for practice should be submitted to Shane Wilkinson, Director of Volleyball Operations. Please submit requests as early in advance as possible. Indiana University will make every effort to accommodate all practice requests within Big Ten Conference policies.

8 GENERAL INFORMATION PRE-GAME ACTIVITY / MATCH PROTOCOLS > > The visiting team will be allocated specific court times for pre-game warm-ups in accordance with Big Ten Conference policies. Please refer to the official match protocol sheet that will be posted in the locker-room. TEAM BENCH & LOCKER-ROOM > > The visiting team bench will be located on the right side of the scorer s table in the Volleyball Competition Facility (when facing the scorer s table). The visiting locker room is located in between the east bleachers on the opposite side of the scorer s table. TEAM PARKING > > The visiting team buses will be directed to park on the south side of University Gym. Event Management will direct the buses upon arrival. Please contact Davis Bolsteins, Event Management, prior to arrival for parking arrangements and details. UNIFORMS > > In accordance with Big Ten Conference policy, visiting teams will wear dark colored uniforms during conference competitions. For non-conference home tournaments, please refer to the uniform assignment document included in the welcome packet. VIDEO RECORDING > > Video recording will take place on the end-line bleachers directly behind Indiana s starting side of the court. Accommodations within reason can be made for alternative filming locations.

18 IU SPORTS MEDICINE The Athletic Training Staff welcomes you to Indiana University. We want to ensure your visit to our campus is comfortable by providing general medical information that you may find beneficial during your stay. All volleyball matches will be played at University Gym, on the corner of 10th and Bypass 45/46. The Athletic Training Room is located upstairs relative to the gym floor (stairs are located in the same hall as your locker-room). In order to accommodate you and your team, we will provide the following: - In the locker-room: water, cups, ice, ice bags, flexi wrap and shower towels - On the bench: water, Gatorade, cups, biohazard kit, injury ice and sweat towels - In the Athletic Training Room (two hours before and after the match): hydrocollator, ultrasound, laser, GameReady and electrical simulation If your team will be travelling without an ATC, please send us a written notice informing us of any modality needs, signed by a physician or an ATC.
