Spanish is a plus for all employees to communicate with the workforce today. ****'s training and learning fell short of my expectations, from plant identification and names to common pests and diseases in our area. More in depth training. One year is probably not enough. Hands-on experience -nothing beats that. Everyone, no matter what degree, should be given lessons in employee relations, sexual harassment at the workplace, manners and attitude. More training in plant ID, disease and pest control. **** has learned more in the garden center than in horticultural courses. ***** is bright, intelligent person and learns easily so I don't feel that this knowledge was something not retained. Perhaps the testing levels are too low - students don't feel it necessary to learn more advanced sections of text in order to pass the tests. **** has a strong sense of customer service skills with people due to working since 15, not due to school.
