1 Conference April 10 & 11, 2015 Scottsdale, Arizona
2 Conference April 10 & 11, 2015 Scottsdale, Arizona The Inspire Early Childhood Leadership Series is designed for early childhood educators and organizations serving Preschool through Grade 3. The entire two day event is an affirmation of the importance of providing content rich, supportive learning environments with high quality services for young children and their families. The initiative is designed to include teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators in discussions of current research in best practices, collaborative planning and teaching strategies, the process of sharing ideas and implementing intentional teaching practices. Presentations will attract attendees from Head Start programs, preschools and centers, K-3 educators and curriculum specialists, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, universities and colleges, and families. The host for this is event is Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool located in Scottsdale Arizona. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Pinnacle continues to provide leadership in professional development workshops and conferences. April 10, :30am 2:30pm $150 (includes lunch) Spend the morning observing in the Pinnacle classrooms and then join our afternoon discussion with Lella Gandini. Create a culture of literacy by allowing early literacy - the scaffolding of listening, speaking, writing, and reading to permeate your classroom environment. Join us as we discuss the power of classroom environments that build confidence and delight in the written word. Teachers share their storytelling techniques and how to use open ended materials to develop children s storytelling. Rediscover the power of play as it develops children s conversational skills and mastery of collaboration. April 11, :30am 4:30pm $200 (includes lunch) Adults build stronger relationships with children and learn more about them when they are actively observing and engaging children in play. Discover the rise in quality of practice that results when we respond positively to children s emergent ideas. Join us as we look at the joyful process of chasing children s ideas, navigating collaboration and discussion with colleagues and parents, and documenting the learning in your classroom. Become inspired by teachers and colleagues as they share their creative techniques and challenges, as they demonstrate putting theory into practice. Ask us about NAREA and Group Discounts Ask us about Sponsorship Opportunities
