Students may join courses on any Monday, but will join the International Business Communications programme until the next full unit start date). Course Duration: 24 weeks. Minimum age: 17. Entry Requirements: - Intermediate (equivalent to IELTS 4.5/CEFR B1). Minimum High School completion (Year 12 or equivalent). Please note Visa Nationals may have further restrictions. Hours Per week: 22.5 (30 x 45 minute lessons per week). Course Certification: MLS University Foundation Diploma. External Certification: NCFE Investing in Quality Awards. Course Content: Eight full content at Level 3 across the specialised areas of marketing, management, finance and/or legal studies (MLS 1 7), plus international business communications and English language, including IELTS. 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Key course information Start date: 31 October Second year (HND) to commence October Course duration: HNC 2 terms each of 12 weeks. HND (second year) 2 terms each of 12 weeks. HNC study 24 weeks. Total HND studies 48 weeks. Minimum age: 18. Entry requirements: CEFR B2 + QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent. Please note visa nationals may have further restrictions. Hours per week: 30 (40 x 45 min lessons per week). Course certification: MLS Higher National Certificate: QCF Level 4 / Edexcel BTEC Higher National Certificate. MLS Higher National Diploma: QCF Level 5 / Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diploma. Course Content: Course Structure: For HNC, 8 full Level 4/5 units will be studied plus elements from English and International Business Communications. For HND 16 full level 4/5 units will be studied plus English and International Business Communications elements (MLS elements 1-7). Course Content: The Pre Masters course includes 10 lessons per week of English for IELTS study; 10 lessons per week of study (may be substituted for Business Communications), 10 lessons per week of selected content study from the BBSI Vocational programmes (MLS 1 7) + 2 lessons per week of Academic English Language.
