6 LEJIS Introduction Project Goals Increased Officer and Public Safety Improved Decision Making Abilities at the Local Level Reduction of Redundancy in Justice Information Handling LEJIS Mission To provide relevant data, in real time, to law enforcement Agencies maintain their individual records management systems (RMS) Contributing agencies control data to be shared Select data are automatically upload to central core server Data is available for search by authorized users.
