Customisation All courses and topics in the programme will be customised for the Guyana business environment, and to seek to address issues pertinent and relevant to the country. Convenience All courses for the In-Company EMBA will be delivered in Georgetown Guyana. Those insights have helped to refine my own perspectives on business matters that I encounter daily. 13 class faculty Howard Dottin has been an adjunct faculty member of the Lok Jack GSB since 2000, lecturing in Financial Strategy, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting on the MBA programmes. He has been teaching Management Accounting since His credentials include a fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and an Executive MBA. Howard Dottin Zameer Mohammed holds a B.Sc. in Management and Geology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from The University of the West Indies. He also has a Master in Education from The University of Toronto and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and International Marketing from Maastricht School of Management. At present, he holds the position of Assistant Vice President Professional Education at The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) and has been a lecturer at the Lok Jack GSB for many years in the area of Marketing. Zameer Mohammed Miss Hulsie Bhaggan has a multi-faceted career in banking, management consulting, politics, trade-unionism and in social and civic development. Ms. Bhaggan holds a B.Sc. in Management studies and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). She is currently a Management lecturer at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. 14 world Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie is Pro Vice-Chancellor, Planning and Development at The University of the West Indies (UWI). He has served the University as Lecturer, Executive Director, UWI Institute of Business (now Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business nine years) and Principal, UWI St. Augustine (six years) before assuming responsibility for Planning and Development in August Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie Dr. Ron Sookram leads the Corporate Responsibility portfolio at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. Over the past years this researcher, lecturer, consultant and programme director has acquired valuable knowledge and experience in this area and continues to function as a key resource in promoting the understanding and practice of Corporate Responsibility. Dr. Ron Sookram Dr. Colin McDonald Dr. Colin McDonald holds a B.Sc in Economics and Management from The University of the West Indies and an M.Sc. specialising in Project Planning and Implementation from the International Training Centre, International Institute For Aerospace Surveys and Earth Sciences in The Netherlands (Holland). He later went on to complete a Ph.D. in Economics at The University of Goettingen in Germany. Dr. McDonald is currently the Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Full time Lecturer in Strategy at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, Trinidad and Tobago. 14

15 class faculty Dr. Karen Murdock is the Assistant Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Lok Jack GSB. Dr. Karen Murdock holds a B.Sc. in Agribusiness Management and an M.Sc. in International Business from The University of the West Indies. Additionally, she holds an M.Sc. in Business Organisation and a Diploma of Advanced Studies from The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona where she also completed a Ph.D. in Business Creation, Strategy and Management. Dr. Murdock is the recipient of the European Doctorate Mention for work done at Växjö University in Sweden. Dr. Karen Murdock Miguel was appointed the Executive Director at the Lok Jack GSB in June He has had a distinguished career as a professor, having taught for over 21 years in 12 different countries in three languages. His main areas of focus are innovation and strategy. Professor Carrillo obtained his Ph.D. in a joint programme between Concordia and McGill Universities. Professor Carrillo worked as Finance Director at Hewlett Packard in Mexico for eight years. Professor Miguel Carrillo Dr. Williams is currently an Associate Faculty member at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, teaching in the Executive and International MBA and in the Master in Human Resource Management Programmes. Will funding be made available? - A limited number of scholarships are available for students with exceptional academic performance and qualifications.
