3 Overview This document is intended to outline standard requirements of a Fluency Direct Proof of Concept project. 4 Configuration Copying of current M*Modal users speech profiles will be included, if available. Workstation Configuration o Installation instructions will be provided to Customer IT Professional and Support Staff. o M*Modal to work with customer to install software and configure up to 5 workstations. Training M*Modal will provide training on configuration of site specific provider names and/or locations during Train the Trainer application training. Configuration of up to 10 macros/ normals is completed during training phase. Train the Trainer Application Training Up to one day of on-site application training. Support Line: Support Mailbox: [email protected] Use Cases The Proof of Concept Project will support the following use cases associated with the Fluency Direct product. Technology Use Case Successfully install and run in customer environment. Access Use Case Allow multiple dictators to successfully use multiple PCs. Documentation Use Case Successfully dictate, document and save in target application o Dictate Capability Only / Full Dictate and Edit Command Capability (based on target application) o Command and Control for Voice Navigation (based on target application). From base library of commands only; no workflow analysis. Proprietary Information. Page 4

5 Success Factors Technology Use Case Install the client software on Windows 7 and Windows XP Workstations meeting minimum requirements using manual install. Demonstrate customer access to M*Modal Data Center. Validate any Bandwidth, Firewall and Proxy limitations. Access Use Case Authenticate to M*Modal Data Center to obtain Author Profile information. Demonstrate more than one user on more than one PC can access Author Profile and User Settings. Demonstrate that individual user and PC settings are properly persisted. Documentation Use Case The ability to dictate a note into a single EHR used by your facility. The ability to correct dictated notes using speech commands, keyboard and mouse. The ability to save note via the EHR. The ability to edit previously saved notes using speech commands, keyboard and mouse. Ability to access and use shared commands and vocabulary items Ability to persist and use commands and vocabulary entries. Initial accuracy of the system will vary from dictator to dictator, but all dictators should see a gradual improvement in accuracy over time. Proprietary Information. Page 5
