5 List of Features Features Virtual Server (VM) Data Disk OS Template ISO Image Snapshot Firewall API Global IP Address Private IP Address Details 5 configurations available with varying virtual CPU, memory, and root disk combinations Virtual servers can be created, removed, started, stopped, and restarted through Control Panel Data disks can be added at increments of: 40GB,100GB, and 1TB Standard OS templates provided Custom templates can be created from customer built root disk images, and virtual servers can be deployed using custom templates. Root disk snapshot images can be used to create custom templates Customer supplied ISO images can be uploaded and used to deploy virtual servers Snapshots can be taken on root disks and data disks Periodic snapshots can be taken on specified intervals (weekly and monthly) Number of snapshot generations to be saved can be specified for periodic snapshots Network traffic to the virtual servers can be filtered using pre-configured firewall rules APIs available to browse the resource status and to manage the virtual servers (start, stop, etc) Resources can be managed directly through customer applications via APIs without operating Control Panel Global IP addresses can be assigned to virtual servers through Control Panel. One private IP address is assigned to a virtual server by default Virtual servers under the same account can communicate to each other using private IP addresses 5
