4 4 What is the Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme? pursuant to the Energy Efficiency Directive 2012, Article 7 legal obligation on all EU member states to achieve energy savings applicable to all obligated parties = energy suppliers ( with yearly sales > 600GWh) this phase applies from Jan 1 st 2014 to 31 st Dec % of annual energy sales to customers by volume (3 yr. 2013) is the annual energy savings target Targets are allocated to suppliers as per our share of energy market sales volume The Obligated Parties = Energy Suppliers Electric Ireland Bord Gais Energy Bord Na Mona Energia SSE Airtricity Calor Gas Flogas Gazprom Enprova/REIL Electric Ireland - Energy Services Vayu The Targets ( PEE)
