1 SECTION/TITLE ORIGIL LANGUAGE NEW LANGUAGE NOTES GENERAL OVERVIEW I. Authority and References No change No change II. Purpose No change No change The purpose of this annex is to define the organization, operational concepts, responsibilities, and procedures to accomplish state disaster recovery in Texas. This annex is applicable to all agencies, organizations, and personnel with recovery Emergency Support Function (ESF) responsibilities. III. Explanation of Terms This section used to be Situation and Assumptions and the Explanation of Terms was placed before Section I of this annex. IV. Situation and Was Section III. Assumptions V. Concept of Operations Was Section IV. Now Section V. VI. Organization and Was Section V. Now Section VI. Assignment of Responsibilities New Section III. Several new terms were introduced, including: Area Field Office, Community-based organization, Citizen Corps, Citizen Community Response Team, Corporation for National and Community Service, Donations Assessment Team, District Coordinator, Donations Coordination Team, Dept. of Family and Protective Services, Dept. of Information Resources, Donations Steering Committee, Emergency Management Assistance Compact, Faith-Based Organization, and several other terms/names. Now Section IV. VI.B.2.h.9): The Voluntary Agency Liaison was added to the list of state It is intended to supplement the State of Texas Emergency Management Plan. The Texas State Disaster Coalition Catastrophe Plan (TSDC) meets quarterly to facilitate policies and procedures related to insurance support following a major disaster. This appendix used to be a standalone annex (Annex T: Donations Management) Development Board and United Ways of Texas.
