3 Dear colleagues, honorable guests and friends, We are pleased to welcome you to the IPRAS Course: Principles and techniques in Maxillofacial Trauma, Cancer & Aesthetics. This course is a two-day program consisting of lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions. We have prepared a rich and interesting program to introduce the principles of maxillofacial surgery, with a unique emphasis on the topics of anatomy, embryology, occlusion, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery and mandible/oral reconstruction. Half of the course is devoted to unique "hands-on laboratories" to teach the basics of taking impressions and working with dental models, cephalometric analysis, osteotomies and plating techniques. AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT Audiovisual Equipment of the latest technology is used in the meeting hall. INTERNET SITE All useful information about the Course is available on line at the following web site address: CME CREDITS (ECMEC) The Course is granted 9 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) NAME BADGES You may receive your personal name badge at the Registration Desk. For security reasons all delegates must wear their name badges throughout the whole Course. CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE At the end of the Course, a certificate of attendance with the CME points will be delivered to all registered participants.
