For full detailed conditions refer to the conditions outlined in the Rental Agreement at pick-up. All prices quoted in this document are in Australian dollars. 2 Protection Package Personal Injury The Vehicle has third party insurance cover. It is likely that any other vehicle involved in an accident also has third party insurance cover. Depending on the circumstances of the accident, you may be entitled to claim for your personal injury against the third party insurance of the party responsible for the accident. The extent of such third party insurance varies in different States and Territories and Apollo strongly recommends that you take out your own Personal Injury Travel Insurance. If you are responsible for the accident the Vehicle's third party insurance should cover you for your liability except where you have committed a breach of the Vehicle's third party insurance e.g. drink driving. Property Damage The Vehicle is insured for damage to it or damage to the property of a third party. However you are responsible up to the amount of the applicable Liability for the cost of such damage to third party property, or to the rented Vehicle. You are also responsible for the cost of demurrage for the period the Vehicle is unavailable due to repairs. The Liability applies in respect of each claim, not per rental. In addition to the Liability and administration fee of $75 will be charged per claim. The Liability is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident is reported to Apollo, not at the completion of the rental period. Apollo reserves the right to charge the renter for any vehicle damage including Third Party property damage not reported on return of the vehicle. Standard Liability Apollo's rental charge includes a Standard Liability of: - 2/3 Berth Hitop, 2 Berth S/T Euro Tourer: AU$5,000-4 Berth, 6 Berth and 4WD Campers: AU$7,500 A Bond of AU$5,000/AU$7,500 will be collected from you at the time of entering into the Rental Agreement. Payment of this Bond is only accepted by credit card. The AU$5,000/AU$7,500 will be debited to your credit card account immediately. An administration fee equal to the merchant surcharge applies. This fee is non-refundable. The Standard Liability can be reduced by purchasing one of the following Reduction Options: 1) Liability Reduction Option 1 (LRO1) - A Liability of $2,500 applies. - $27.00 per day (payable to Apollo at pick-up). - The minimum amount payable is based on the minimum rental period applicable for your rental. - The maximum amount payable by you for this Option is $1,350 (i.e. 50 days rental). - With this Option a Bond of $2,500 will be collected (debited from credit card immediately). 2) Liability Reduction Option 2 (LRO2) - A Liability of $0 applies. - $44.00 per day (payable to Apollo at pick-up). - The minimum amount payable is based on the minimum rental period applicable for your rental. - The maximum amount payable by you for this Option is $2,200 (i.e. 50 days rental). - With this Option a Bond of $250 will be collected (credit card imprint with authorisation).

3 Under this option 1 windscreen, 2 tyres, demurrage, overhead or underbody of the vehicle will be covered for accidental damage. Should these amounts be exceeded the cost to repair or replace the items will not be covered and will be the responsibility of the renter. 4WD Additional Cover (4WD vehicles only) - A Liability of $0 applies. - $ flat fee (payable to Apollo at pick-up). - Can only be purchased if LR2 or Inclusive Rate has been purchased - With this Option a Bond of $250 will be collected (credit card imprint with authorisation). Under this option, you have coverage for items included with LRO2 plus: - Unlimited windscreen and tyre damage (normally limited to 1 windscreen and 2 tyres) - Side awning damage - Towing and vehicle recovery costs from 4WD roads where permission from Apollo to travel on these roads has been granted. Security Deposit (Bond) 1) Standard Liability: AU$5,000/AU$7,500 Bond payable by credit card only. Your credit card will be debited immediately for the AU$5,000/AU$7,500. An administration fee (equal to the merchant credit card surcharge) applies. This fee is non-refundable. 2) Liability Reduction Option 1: AU$2,500 Bond payable by credit card only. Your credit card will be debited immediately for the AU$2,500. An administration fee (equal to the merchant credit card surcharge) applies. This fee is non-refundable. 3) Liability Reduction Option 2: AU$250 Bond payable by an open signed credit card imprint with an authorization obtained (sufficient funds must be available) for the amount of the Bond. *** Please keep in mind that the Liability (and relevant Bond) applies in respect of each claim, not per rental. Therefore you may need to put up multiple Bonds if you have multiple accidents or damage claims while on hire. *** Multiple rentals: Apollo can roll over the Bond from one rental to the next, provided the multiple hires are within the same country and where the Bond has been debited from your credit card. The Bond is fully refundable (excluding the administration fee) when the vehicle is returned to the correct location on time, is full of fuel and all other terms of the Rental Contract have been complied with. Please note that it can take up to 14 days for your money to reappear in your account. If there is damage to the vehicle on its return, the Bond will be used to cover the cost of such damage up to the amount of the relevant Liability. However, if the terms of the Rental Contract are breached and the Bond is insufficient to cover the damage then any extra cost will be charged. Your Full Responsibility At all times you will be responsible for: Damage caused where the terms of Rental Contract have been breached. Damage caused by negligence. Damage caused to the Vehicle in any way by part or total water submersion or salt water.

4 Damage caused due to a single vehicle roll over. Damage caused to the Vehicle by the renter s willful conduct. Damage caused to the Vehicle when using the Vehicle in contravention of any legislation or regulation controlling vehicular traffic. Damage or loss caused to any personal belongings. Damage caused due to use of incorrect or contaminated fuel. Damage to the awning, except where 4WD Additional Cover has been purchased (4WD vehicles only) Damage to the slide-out. Damage to the overhead or underbody of the Vehicle, except where Reduction Option 2 (or Inclusive Rate) has been purchased. Flex Rates The flex rate that is available at the time of booking for the first rental day determines the daily rental rate for the entire rental period up to the 35th day. All rental days from the day on are counted as a new booking and the flex rate that applies for the 36th day will be used from then on, the flex rate that applies for the 71st rental day will be used from then, etc. Rental Charges Rentals are charged per calendar day. Day of pick-up and day of drop-off are included as days of rental regardless of time of pick up and drop off. When a rental moves from one rate season into the next, the calculation is based on both rates. Payments Apollo accepts credit card, debit card or EFTPOS for payment of rental charges or additional products at pick-up. The Security Deposit (Bond) can only be paid by credit card. Apollo accepts the following credit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Visa and MasterCard will incur an additional 2% on any transaction, including the Bond. American Express and Diners Club will incur an additional 4.5% surcharge fee on any transaction. No cash payments will be accepted under any circumstances. Rental Duration The minimum rental for all vehicles is 7 days. Minimum rental periods apply for one-way rentals (see table below). Exceptions: Bathurst and Phillip Island races: a 10-day minimum rental period applies for east coast locations (Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney) dates to be advised Christmas: a 10-day minimum rental period applies for all locations during the period 15 December 2012 to 05 January Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak seasons. Branches Apollo has campervan branches in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. All vehicles are available from all locations, apart from the Euro Slider which is only available to/from Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns. Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney: - Open 7 days a week (8am to 4.30pm) - Closed Christmas Day, New Year s Day and Good Friday.

5 Alice Springs: - Open 7 days a week (8am to 4.30pm) - Exceptions: between 01 December 2012 to 31 March 2012 (branch closed on Sundays) - Closed Christmas Day, New Year s Day and Good Friday. Darwin: - Open 7 days a week (8am to 4.30pm) - Exceptions: between 01 December 2012 to 31 March 2012 (branch closed on Saturdays and Sundays) - Closed Christmas Day, New Year s Day and Good Friday. Broome: - Open Monday to Fridays (8am to 5pm) - Open Saturday and Sundays and Public Holidays (8am to 1pm) - Exceptions: between 01 November 2012 and 31 March 2013 (branch closed on Sundays and Public Holidays) - Closed Christmas Day, New Year s Day and Good Friday. Hobart: - Open 7 days a week (8am to 4.30pm) - Exceptions: between 01 May 2012 to 31 August 2012 (branch closed on Saturdays and Sundays) - Closed Christmas Day, New Year s Day and Good Friday. Luggage storage is available at all branches for return hires (not one-way rentals). Broome Surcharge An additional charge of $750 applies to all rentals picking up or dropping off (or both) in Broome. This is in addition to the one-way fee if applicable. Only the Hitop, 4WD Adventure Camper and 4WD Outback Camper are available for hire to and from the Broome branch. Hobart Rentals The 4WD Adventure Camper and 4WD Outback Camper are not available for hire to or from the Hobart branch. Tasmania Ferry Reservations Ferry reservations can be difficult to manage during high season. We recommend that a reservation is made for a 7.3m vehicle on the ferry, irrespective as to the sixe of the motorhome reserved, to avoid complications due to possible upgrades. Transfers Vehicles must be collected and returned to our branches (not airports). Transfers to and from the Apollo branch are not included in the rental price. It is the client's responsibility to get to and from the branch. One Way Rentals One-way rentals are available between all branches subject to the minimum rental periods in the table below.

6 ADL 7 ASP 7 14 BNE BME CNS DRW HBA MEL PER SYD A one-way rental fee of AU$260 is charged for rentals 20 days or less per segment, for rentals not involving Alice Springs, Broome or Darwin. A one-way rental fee of AU$350 is charged for rentals 20 days or less per segment, for rentals collecting or returning to Alice Springs, Broome or Darwin. The one way rental fee is waived for 21+ day rentals. Taxes Our rates include 10% GST and 3% tax levy. Exchange Rate / Currency Variations All credit card transactions directly through Apollo are conducted in Australian dollars. Due to exchange rate fluctuations there could be some variance in the amount refunded compared to the amount initially charged. Apollo do not accept any liability for variances up or down. Refunds by credit card can take up to 14 working days depending on the renter s Financial Institution. Driver s Licence - A current and full state or national driver s licence is required per driver at pick-up. - Provisional licences are not accepted. - Copies or translations of driver s licences are not accepted. - If the licence is not readable in English, an international driver s licence must accompany the original licence. - An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driver's licence. - You must have held a driver s licence for at least 2 years and at the time of travel, it definitely needs to be a full licence (not provisional). The full licence must be valid for the whole length of the rental. Age Restrictions The minimum age to drive a vehicle is 21 years. For drivers 76 years of age or over, a current medical certificate stating that the customers is fit to drive for the duration of the hire is required upon vehicle collection. The medical certificate must be issued no earlier than 2 weeks before pick-up to be valid. Kitchen and Personal Kits Each vehicle is supplied with complimentary living equipment (such as bedding, cooking equipment, eating utensils and tea towels). Bedding includes (per person), a doona (or sleeping bags in the Hitop and 4WD campervans which can be unzipped to use as blanket), bed sheet, pillow, pillow case and bath towel. You may wish to bring your own beach towel. Apollo Welcome Pack Each vehicle is supplied with a complimentary Apollo Pack for the first night. The pack contains matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and sugar satchels.

7 Maps and Campground Guides Each vehicle is supplied with a complimentary road map as well as campground guides. For campground information, please see: Apollo clients receive a 10% discount at Top Tourist Parks and Big 4 Holiday Parks (details supplied at pick-up). Apollo Club The Apollo Club offers discounted prices for a large range of attractions and experiences across Australia, including day tours, theme parks, attractions, cruises & activities. The minimum offer is 10% off already discounted prices. To search for some great deals, please visit: Vehicle Consultation On pick-up of the vehicle our staff will provide a complimentary vehicle consultation. This includes an explanation of all the interior and exterior features of the vehicle as well as driving tips. Bikes and Surfboards Bulky items, such as bikes and surfboards, are not permitted in (or on) the Apollo vehicles. The Apollo vehicles do not come with roof racks, bike racks or tow bars. Items such as golf clubs and fold up wheelchairs are permitted. With all bulky items, Apollo does not accept any responsibility for any damage caused to the client s property. However clients are responsible for any damage that the bulky items cause to the rental vehicle, regardless of any Liability Cover taken. Baby and Booster Seat Configurations 2/3 Berth Hitop Camper: Cannot be fitted 2 Berth S/T Euro Tourer: Cannot be fitted 2 Berth 4WD Adv. Camper: Cannot be fitted 4 Berth Euro Slider: Cannot be fitted 4 Berth Euro Camper: 2 x Baby or Booster Seats 4 Berth Euro Star: 2 x Baby or Booster Seats 6 Berth Euro Deluxe: 2 x Baby or Booster Seats 4 Berth 4WD Outback Camper: 2 x Baby or Booster Seats Child restraints from overseas may not conform to the stringent standards required in Australia. Apollo therefore strongly recommends overseas renters not to bring their own child restraints, as they will not be allowed to use them in Apollo vehicles. Apollo advises that clients should travel to and from their branches via taxi. If clients have children that require a child restraint then Apollo strongly recommends clients pre-order a taxi with appropriate child restraints to meet their requirements. Baby Capsules are not permitted in any Apollo vehicle. Notes: Baby Seats are required for young children as follows:

8 - 9 to 18 kg weight; or - 6 months to 4 years of age (on average); or - above 70cm in length. Booster Seats are required for young children as follows: - 14 to 26 kg weight; or - 4 to 7 years of age (on average). L.P. Gas Refill Service Fee The gas bottle(s) is supplied full. A service fee is payable on pick up of the vehicle: $25 Hitop / Euro Tourer / Adventure Camper / Outback Camper $35 Euro Camper / Euro Star / Euro Slider / Euro Deluxe The gas bottle can be returned empty to Apollo at the completion of the rental. The fee applies for each part of a multiple rental. Travel Restrictions 2WD Vehicles: Two Wheel Drive vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads or well-maintained access roads less than 12 kilometres long to recognised campgrounds. Two Wheel Drive Campervans/Motorhomes may only travel to the following remote areas with the express written permission of Apollo: Kangaroo Island. Remote area conditions apply. 4WD Vehicles: Four Wheel Drive Vehicles can also be driven on recognized unsealed tracks but may only travel to the following remote areas with the express written permission of Apollo: Any Islands, Tasmania, Simpson Desert, Cape York (north of Daintree River), Oodnadatta Track, Mereenie Loop Road, Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, Gibb River Road, Kalumburu Road, Warburton Road, Strzelecki Track, Cape Leveque, Bungle Bungles, the Plenty Highway, Burke Development Road from Chillagoe to Normanton and Savannah Way from Normanton to Borroloola, Finke Road, Central Arnhem Road, Arnhem Land in general and any other remote area. Vehicles are NOT permitted to travel on the Canning Stock-route, The Lost City in Litchfield Park, Gunbarrel Highway, the Old Telegraph Road section of the road to Cape York, Boggy Hole (Finke Gorge National Park), the Old South Road from Maryvale to Kinkea and the last 2 kilometres of the Lennard River Gorge Road, at any time. Vehicles are NOT permitted to Cape York between the months of December to May (inclusive). Travel is permitted from June to the end of November, but permission from Apollo is still required. At the time of booking, please advise if you wish to travel through any of these restricted areas/roads. In the week leading up to your rental, the relevant Apollo branch will check the local conditions and confirm if you are able to travel through the nominated areas/roads. If permission is denied, you will need to choose an alternative travel route. Please note that any cancellations at this time will be subject to Salamanda Travel s normal cancellation fees. Please note that in the event of an accident or breakdown in a remote area or in an area not permitted by Apollo, you are responsible for all costs associated with the recovery of the vehicle to Apollo s nearest branch. Apollo reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions, and the distance to nominated destinations in relation to the length of the rental. Change of Vehicle

9 Should the vehicle booked be unavailable through unforseen circumstances, Apollo reserves the right to substitute an alternative vehicle without prior notification and at no extra cost. This shall not constitute a breach of contract, and does not entitle the renter to any refund. Vehicle Category Vehicles cannot be requested by make or model, only by vehicle category. Voluntary Downgrade Should the renter decide to take a lesser vehicle than booked within 14-days of pick-up or during the rental then they will not be entitled to any refund. Roadside Assistance All vehicles are enrolled in the Australian Automobile Association and emergency roadside assistance is available in all States. Repairs Although Apollo run late model vehicles, it may happen that small repairs are required. Repairs up to $100 may be affected without authorization and will be reimbursed. For amounts over $100, Apollo will need to be informed in advance. Toll Roads (Melbourne) There are a number of toll roads around Melbourne. If you intend to travel on these toll roads, you need to organise a pass for the relevant road. There are no toll gates so you have to organise a pass prior to travel. City Link: For travel on the City Link freeway, please contact East Link: For travel on the East Link freeway, please contact Toll Roads (Brisbane) There are a number of toll roads around Brisbane. If you intend to travel on these toll roads, you can either organise a pass prior to travel or pay for your toll (over the phone using your credit card) up to 3 days after passing through the toll. There are no toll gates so you cannot stop to pay your toll. For more information please call or visit Infringements and Administration Fees Apollo reserves the right to charge the renter for any speeding, toll way or parking fines not reported on return of the vehicle. In addition to these costs, Apollo reserves the right to charge for associated administration cots for processing the fines (irrespective of excess). An administration fee of $75 will be applicable. Limit of Liability In the event of no alternative vehicle being available to the renter our liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge or in the case of mechanical failure (unless caused by the renter) the remainder of the hire period. Travel Insurance Apollo strongly recommends that clients ensure they take out the highest level of Travel Insurance. Animals Service dogs are permitted to travel in Apollo vehicles with prior permission from Apollo. Housetrained dogs are permitted to travel in Apollo vehicles for a fee with prior permission through Salamanda/Selfdriveshop.com. No other animals are permitted in Apollo vehicles. Important Apollo reserves the right to refuse any rental at our discretion.

10 Cleaning The vehicle must be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness or the hirer may be charged a cleaning fee up to $250. If applicable, the toilet and waste (grey) water tank must both be returned empty or a $150 cleaning charged will be imposed. 4WD vehicles must be free of mud on the outside. Booking Amendments 1) Prior to pick-up: If you wish to make any changes to your booking BEFORE pick-up the booking will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate that is valid at the time of the booking change, depending on whichever rate is higher. There are no exceptions to this rule. The following situations are classified as booking alterations: - Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off (including rental extensions) - Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off - Change of vehicle category - Name change Booking amendments must be made at least 14 days prior to pick-up to avoid the following:- if an amendment is made to the rental dates within 14 days of collection, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (that is; the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked). A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 days of vehicle pick up or if notification occurs during the hire. 2) After pick-up: Changes or rental extensions must be made through Apollo directly. The additional days will be charged at the applicable rate (as advised by Apollo) available at the time of the extension. - Rental Extension: If the customer wishes to extend the rental whilst on hire, they must first obtain authorisation from Reservations. This is subject to availability. The extra cost of an extended rental must be paid by credit card over the telephone or at an Apollo Branch immediately on confirmation of the rental extension. If you decide to extend your rental duration (i.e. changing the drop-off date) by 2 days the same flex rate is used that applied on the day when you made your original booking. If you extend by 3 days or more, the booking change rule applies as outlined above. Failure to obtain authorisation will result in the renter being charged double the daily gross rental rate. - Rental Reduction: There are no refunds for returning the vehicle early. - Change of Drop-off Destination: If the renter wishes to change the drop off destination after the rental has commenced, they first must obtain authorisation from the Apollo Head Office. Subject to the change being approved, an additional charge of $700 will be charged. Rates/Terms/Conditions/Vehicle Specifications Are subject to change without notice. Additional Equipment To be requested at time of reservation and paid by customer on pick up at branch: - Camping Chair: AU$17.00 per rental - Camping Table: AU$24.00 per rental - Baby/Booster Seat: AU$30.00 per rental - GPS Navigation System: AU$10.00 per day (maximum $100 per rental) - Heater (240V): AU$15.00 per rental - Cooling Fan (240V): AU$15.00 per rental

11 - Satellite Phone: AU$20.00 per day plus call costs - Toilet Chemicals: $2.50 each - First Aid Kits: A first aid kit is supplied in every vehicle. If the seal is broken or the kit is not returned, the kit becomes the property of the renter and a $50 fee is charged when the vehicle is returned.
