8 Nursing Certified Nurse Aide (CNA ) Approximately 4 weeks of education and clinical required to sit for the state licensing exam to become certified. Median pay $11.54 per hour or $24,010 per year Job outlook % increase expected; over 1.5 million workers as of LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) 12 to 18 month program; after completion students sit for the NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination), some people refer to this test as their boards or state boards.
