Your child s stay at Bearly Sick is easy to arrange. We encourage you to pre-register your child before the first visit for a quicker check-in. You can register your child online at Then, when your child becomes ill, just call. We will need
5 approximately a one-hour notice to prepare for your child. Call for more information or bearlysick@mercycare.org. Fit Families and Trim Kids Mercy s Fit Families program is now offering Trim Kids, a scientifically supported, clinically proven method to help children and families form healthy lifestyle habits. The 13-week program is designed for a parent and child to complete together. Throughout Trim Kids, your child will receive a health assessment, which helps professionals tailor a diet and fitness plan to meet your child s needs. During the 13 weeks, parents will learn how to coach their families into making healthy choices. Each session will provide a health check, short educational component and a new activity for everyone to try. Trim Kids is an active program. You will be asked to track your progress, write goals and complete homework. Together, you and your child will discover activities you enjoy, new foods to try and how to modify habits that lead to poor choices. For more information about Trim Kids and other programs offered by Fit Families, call the Center for Fit Families at
