In the 1990s, he served as Executive Director of AIDS Action in Washington, D.C., and Political Director of the Human Rights Campaign. THANK YOU Thank you for joining us for our biennial conference, Voices for Change: Shaping the Future of Health Equity! While the Affordable Care Act has dramatically increased the accessibility of health coverage in California, true health equity can only be achieved if we continue to expand coverage, improve the quality of health care, and address the social and environmental factors that impact our health. At today s workshops, experts will discuss some of the factors that influence our wellbeing beyond the expansion of health care coverage, including employment, housing, community violence, land use, and mental health. You will have the opportunity to focus on how these issues intersect with health, explore ways to partner in advocacy efforts, and collaborate and support each other s work. Thank you for joining us for this exciting event. We look forward to uniting with you to build a healthier California. CPEHN Staff Back Row: Cary Sanders, Tahira Cunningham, Pam Flood, Ignatius Bau Front Row: David Dexter, Sarah de Guia, Nena Castro, Ruben Cantu
