2 Faculty Handbook Committee Prior Learning Assessment Community Involvement Goodlettsville Help Center 2003 Fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by running the 2004 Country Music Marathon and The Marine Corps Marathon for Teams in Training. I have also raised money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society by fundraising to compete in the Memphis in May Triathlon I also ran the Country Music Marathon and completed the Memphis Triathlon in 2005 to raise money for the aforementioned organization. I am currently raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by participating in the Phoenix Marathon on January 13 th, I have since raised money For L & L society every year for Country Music Marathon ( ). In total I have raised over $50,000 for L & L. I have raised money for MS Society for the past 3 years by participating in the Jack & Back 150 mile bike ride. I have raised nearly &3,000 for MS. Creative Project: Burris-Kitchen, Deborah and Mario Zapien (Fall 1999). The Lost Circle. A play produced and written by myself and Mario Zapien based on works of Boel s theater of the oppressed. The production came out of a class I taught on social problems in Latin America. The Production was put on at the University of La Verne theater for the La Verne community. 5
