Discuss the role played by the media in influencing people s perceptions/obsessions with physical appearance, fashion, drugs, sex & alcohol. 100 words max 2. Imagine that you are a product. a. How would you appeal to the target market selected? Which qualities make you (the product) different? Some products (e.g. cell phones) are often over-exposed and sensationalized in the market. Discuss the negative and positive effects/consequences such actions have on society and on the consumer s buying habits. Can you think of more examples of overexposed and sensationalised products?
