1 January 28, 2016 Merchant Card Services Request for Proposal Plain Township Aquatic Center Fees Plain Township is a local government with an Aquatic Center that is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The current need for credit card processing is for Membership Fees and Swimming Lesson Fees that we receive prior to the pool opening and at the beginning of the pool season. We will also need credit card processing during the pool season with various fees including daily gate, pool rentals, pool passes and other miscellaneous items. This is the first time that Plain Township has been authorized to accept credit card payments so we do not have any historical data on the percentage of credit card use based on our receipts. Please base your proposal on the assumption of: Pool Membership Sales $143,000 Transaction is between $67 and $417 Daily Gate $142,000 Daily Gate is between $5 and $9 per person Guest Book Sales $ 26,000 Transaction is between $50 and $70 Miscellaneous $ 34,000 Various transaction amounts Total Sales $345,000 Bid Specifications Plain Township has identified the following operational requirements: 1. Ability to accept debit cards, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. 2. Ability to accept magnetic stripe or chip card. 3. Ability to process payments at both the Township Administrative Office and Aquatic Center by phone line or internet connection using a card reader. Option to process payments by a secure website. 4. Ability to print a receipt. Ability to a receipt if possible. 5. Next day funding to the bank account of our choice. 6. Daily reporting on all transactions.
