21 Survey 10: What is the best advice you can give to a friend preparing to take an online course? Make sure you pay attention to when the assignments are due and not let yourself get behind. You should take any online courses as soon as possible or else you will have to take this orientation class and it's not very fun and takes way too long. Take the time to find out where all the information for your course is located. I think this course was pointless for students who have been taking online classes for years. Be proactive and be savvy with technology. Blackboard is cooler than I knew, did I need to alter my grade to learn it? no. Time management is of the utmost importance. Do not procrastinate. Be proactive and always check announcements and s everyday. Be organized and keep a planner. Not to stress about it, this orientation will help. To take the SOLO program. I have learned more than I ever could have imagined from this program! Get started very early, pester your professor about every little detail, and try and stay ahead.
