Complete Practice Resources Healthcare Coding Consultants of Hawaii Software, Consulting, Coding, Training, and Education I. SOFTWARE AND CONSULTING Ready10 Basic PACKAGE $589 This web-based software package, Ready10, comes with one provider/five user licenses for the project management component and one web based user license for the code translation component. This is a one-time fee. Additional provider/five users/one code translation license blocks $99 ea Additional provider/five users/one code translation block should be purchased for the following reasons: Affordable way to communicate to providers they are a valued and necessary member of the transition team. Automates the chart review code conversions and chart review results which creates a comparative report card that measures provider documentation for the codes providers actually use Generates automatic invitations and status for task, milestone, and deadline completions which ensure provider accountability Post implementation provider productivity monitoring identifies ICD-10- related impact on number of visits and revenue so those issues can be quickly mitigated Project Management Component of Ready10 This is a web based application designed as a virtual consultant to provide comprehensive tools and guidance to physician practices managing their own ICD-10 Transition. It is completely task driven and creates your plan for you as you enter information. It comprises of ICD-10 Information, project planning tools, ICD-10 Assessments, instructional videos. The
project management component of Ready10 is a guide from the planning phases through implementation and even includes post implementation impact assessments that are often overlooked by other programs. The 10Ready is user-friendly software that saves all of your information and progress and allows the user editing capabilities that make it customizable to every practice. Going through each phase of the ICD-10 Transition is made easy by giving users the capability to plan, easily distribute the training and educational materials that are provided for each step, and gather and store all information that will be relevant to ICD-10 and the practice. Each step comes with instructions and examples created by expert consultants to save practices time and money. The educational videos clarify all phases of the transition and are a great way to get every member of the practice engaged. The ICD-10 Transition reaches every area of practice operations and many external stakeholders. This product clarifies who needs to know what, and the questions necessary to ask your external stakeholders. It is available for any size practice and specialty. Code Translation Component of Ready10 This is a conversion and training software that is useful in any phase of the transition. This software can be used to convert codes bidirectionally, look up codes by descriptions and keywords, and store specialty specific favorites lists. Furthermore, coding tips and crosswalks direct users to specific ICD-10 codes where NOS and NEC ICD- 9 codes exist. Unlike simple conversion tools, it can also be used to educate physicians on the new documentation elements required for ICD-10, perform chart audits, and create flash cards and other educational tools. All for less than the cost of code books! Save hours of time that would be spent manually converting codes, get coding tips, and engage physicians in the ICD-10 transition with the 10Ready software. Ready10 Pro Consulting PACKAGE $1995 Additional one provider/five users/one code translation license block $99 each This package includes everything in the Ready10 Basic plus: Conversion of the top twenty codes for your specialty by our consulting team Five hours of remote Ready10 consulting Your practice will have a dedicated ICD-10 expert to assist you in kick-starting your transition. The five hours of remote consulting can be spent assisting your practice in the setup of the Ready10 Project Management (PM) software, or assistance in
completing one or more of the tasks of your ICD-10 project as identified in the 10Ready PM software. Essentially, the choice is yours as to how you would like to utilize your consulting hours. Documentation Assessment Our team of certified coders will remotely review 50 of your charts and provide your providers with a brief summary of how your current documentation practices stack up to ICD-10 s increased specificity. The goal is to identify areas for improvement and consistently and methodically revise documentation practices so the necessary elements are in place prior to the implementation date, while benefiting ICD-9 code selection in the interim. Ready10 Custom Consulting PACKAGE Additional one provider/five users/one code translation license block $9,995 and up* $99 each This package includes everything in the Ready10 Basic plus: CPR offers a custom suite of services which includes project management, consulting, education, and software tools to ensure a smooth ICD-10 transition. Individualized project management includes a specialized awareness training followed by staff general training, followed by physician specialty training. CPR suggests providers begin coding records side-by-side utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes beginning in June of The first phase is a Kickoff meeting, which is 1.5 hours in length. This may be accomplished face-to-face or via conference call. At the kickoff meeting the consultant will explain the ICD-10 transition project, what to expect over the next year, and provide a list of reports and information CPR needs from physicians to begin the process. The kickoff meeting is followed by a comprehensive two day, on-site impact assessment of your practice. This impact assessment includes a full review of your day-to-day processes to determine the impact of ICD- Also included is a chart review examining current documentation practices and determining whether or not there is sufficient documentation to accurately assign the more specific ICD-10 codes. CPR will identify hot spots for clinical documentation improvement and use this as a basis for the initial code set training. We suggest 25 charts for each provider, using the most frequently billed ICD-9 codes as a guide for chart selection. CPR specialists will assist the practice in extracting this frequency list. Upon completion of the comprehensive impact assessment, the CPR project manager will provide the practice with a detailed ICD-10 Implementation Plan. The CPR consultant team will work with practice
and his staff members throughout the remainder of 2013 and 2014 to ensure all implementation tasks are completed prior to the October 1, 2014 go-live. In addition, CPR will evaluate training and education needs and will provide general and specialty specific ICD-10 code set training for staff members and providers. The training will commence in the fall of 2013 (general training) and proceed to specialty specific training beginning in early CPR project managers will remain actively involved through the ICD-10 implementation date (October 1, 2014) and also through postimplementation analysis (December, 2014) by guiding providers and staff through the transition. *Call for pricing Remote ICD-10 Project Management Consulting $125 per hour II. (Some customization of content is available). ICD-10 Starts with Physicians (1 hour)* $ expenses onsite $ 750 Webinar format This one-hour seminar is designed to engage physicians and staff in tackling the ICD-10 transition by educating them on the realities of ICD-10, both positive and negative, and the importance of proper documentation. In a brief, upbeat, and to-the-point presentation we deliver the message that ICD-10 can be an opportunity depending on how physicians and staff prepare. Participants learn how to simplify starting the transition and the importance of engaging and motivating physicians at the cornerstone for ICD-10 success. Medical Necessity Audit Proof your Practice (2 hour)*$ expenses onsite only One of the biggest problems for physician practices is establishing medical necessity to ensure proper reimbursement and compliance. This issue will be exacerbated by the advent of ICD-10. The majority of RAC audit recoveries and the number one reason for claims denials is lack of medical necessity. This 2- hour workshop led by certified coders with over 20 years of coding and billing experience, clarifies the meaning of medical necessity, how it is determined, and how to make sure documentation and diagnosis coding support the procedures submitted in claims. ICD-10 How Now and Why (3 hour)* $ expenses onsite $1500 webinar (2 sessions)
This 3-hour workshop can be delivered as a live seminar or in a webinar series format. Participants will get a detailed look at everything a physician practice needs to know and do to prepare for the ICD-10 transition. The informative presentation begins with a basic overview of ICD-10 and what it is, then delves into detailed and real-world explanations of how to assess, plan for, and implement a successful transition. The covered material also includes policies, procedures, and processes, relationships with other organizations, and information systems and technology. Attendees will receive forms and questionnaires that capture all the information needed to create an ICD-10 transition plan. For many, the most important take-aways will be an understanding of what specific questions remain to be answered in order to assess their own practice s ICD-10 readiness, and how to engage doctors is starting the process. You will not find a better program to help you get started with your transition. High Five Live: The Top 5 things to Start Your ICD-10 Transition* $750 Webinar only This webinar will cover: engaging providers and staff, translating your top ICD-10 diagnosis codes, performing chart reviews, creating your team and tasks, and conducting a thorough impact assessment that includes external stake holder and testing solutions. Mastering ICD-10 Chart Reviews (3 hours)* $ expenses (Onsite only) This workshop is designed to give coders an in-depth look at ICD-10, including the differences between ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding conventions, guidelines, and documentation elements. Learn how to perform chart reviews and see how current documentation stacks up for ICD-10. The workshop will assist with the development of an overall documentation process improvement plan. Most importantly, participants will learn the extensive long term benefits of ICD-10 and how mastering chart audits will enable them to demonstrate these benefits to physicians, effectively motivating them to get engaged in the ICD-10 transition process. Transition to ICD-10 for Coding Professionals (2 hours)*$ expenses (Onsite only) In this workshop, attendees will learn that ICD-10 is not the monster in the closet that they have been led to believe. This program takes an in-depth look at new features in ICD-10 as well as the differences between ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding conventions, guidelines, and documentation elements. Learn how to perform chart reviews of your current documentation and how it stacks up for ICD-10. Attendees will learn how to develop an overall documentation improvement plan and how to conduct ICD-10 chart reviews. Achieving ICD-10 Implementation Success (3 hours)* $ expenses $1500 webinar (2 sessions)
This is a Phase II workshop that will demonstrate that a stress-free, successful ICD-10 implementation is achievable if confronted in a sane, measured, and timely fashion.
