Please provide a statement which best describes your entry (maximum 80 words) which may be read out during the award evening if your project is a winner in its category. The Energy, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Safety Awards will be presented in conjunction with the MBA Annual Dinner & Construction Awards on Saturday 31 October 2015 at THE STAR, Event Centre, Pyrmont.

5 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS The judging panels will inspect all projects entered. Entrants will be requested to ensure the appropriate personnel are on hand during the inspection to ensure that any questions posed by the judging panel are answered. Entrants will receive at least one week s notice of the inspection time and date. Should there be a period of time during judging that is not suitable for inspection to take place, please advise the Association no later than 12 June 2015, to lessen the impact on scheduling on-site inspections. Dates unavailable for judging: CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY 12 JUNE 2015 (WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS) ONSITE JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 29 JUNE - 28 AUGUST 2015 PHOTOGRAPHY A selection of 15 professional quality internal and external digital images (mixture of portrait and landscape). Digital images must meet the following specifications: Minimum resolution of 300 dpi (highest quality camera setting) Image size no smaller than A4 Format jpeg or tif Only one project per CD. Entrants are responsible for the quality of all images. These images are used in the audio-visual presentation and media so good quality material will better profile your entry. n YES, I require photography for my entry/entries A professional photography service is available at the following cost - $480 (inc GST) per entry Sydney metropolitan. (Additional costs will apply outside the Sydney metropolitan area). PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS It is a requirement of the Awards that press photography is permitted of the exterior and interior of major award winning entries. We suggest this is clarified and approved by the owner. I do not wish to publish the contract price. PUBLICITY 1. Every effort will be made to maximise publicity for all entrants. 2. The NSW Master Builder Magazine will publish a special feature on the 2015 Awards. 6 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY PLEASE READ ALL CONDITIONS AND SIGN THE AUTHORISATION PRIOR TO SUBMITTING ENTRY. 1. The competition is open to any company or project manager operating in the building and construction industry in NSW. 2. One entry per form. 3. Winning entries in previous MBA of NSW Awards cannot be re-entered. 4. The judges reserve the right to determine whether any entry has been entered in the relevant division/price category and to transfer entries into the division/price category which they deem appropriate. 5. The judges reserve the right to determine the eligibility of an entry. 6. The entrant must obtain assurance of the owner s co-operation in regard to access for judging. 7. Judges must have internal access to the building at any time on the day specified for judging. 8. If the building is not occupied at the time of entering the competition, but it later becomes occupied, permission and agreement to allow access must be obtained by the builder from the occupier prior to judging in time for inspection. 9. Each entry form must be completed in full, giving all details required. 10. Details of entries can be published only if suitable material is provided. 11. Authority, privacy and conditions of entry clauses must be signed separately. 12. Each entry may be published in the media providing suitable material is supplied. Entry in the competition does not, however, automatically ensure exposure in the media. 13. The MBA of NSW reserves the right to refuse to accept any entry. 14. All entries must be located in New South Wales. 15. All documents, including photography, submitted remain the property of the MBA of NSW. 16. Judges decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into. A winner may not necessarily be declared in all categories. 17. All entries must be received by Friday 12 June All photography taken by the Master Builders Association of NSW photographer for the express purpose of the Excellence in Construction Awards and all related promotional activity is subject to copyright. As such this material cannot be used or reproduced by any other party(s) for purposes not associated with the Awards. 19. All projects must have received the Practical Completion Certificate no later than the 30th of June 2015 otherwise the entry will not be judged. AUTHORITY I/We hereby agree to enter the referred project in the 2015 Master Builders Association of NSW Excellence in Construction Awards and agree to be bound by the conditions of entry as set out and hereby give permission to the MBA of NSW to publish non-specific plans and photographs of entry in appropriate media.
