12 Main aim to protect capital and not to stay in a losing trade, but keep in mind: Pre-loaded stop: someone makes a mistake, market trades below your stop loss level, triggers your stop, and you get out Alert: you know when the market trades below your level, then you first go and have a look at why it trades there was it a mistake, or should the market be trading there; and if no mistake then you stick to your stop loss and get out.
