Wrote and obtained the IACUC protocol proposal. Managed and led 10 undergraduates to conduct this project. Mixed a schedule 2 drug into solution. Reengineered operant boxes to fit the need of the project. Learned to program and run MedPC operant software. Performed intraperitoneal injections and taught 10 undergraduates the essentials of injections. Collected data daily for 10 months. Analyzed Data using SPSS. Was selected and fully funded to present this project at CAA Undergrad Conference. Accepted to present at SFN as the leading author. Earned $800 of grant money. Effects of Brief Paradoxical Sleep Deprivation on Radial Arm Maze Performance in SHR S (2013) Helped conduct a literature review for pertinent SHR research. Helped engineer the radial arm maze.
