Responsibilities also included leadership for several key district projects: Successfully wrote and managed multi-year Maryland School-Based Mental Health Grant, which provided additional school psychologist positions to provide expanded mental health services to students. Duties included training, hiring and supervising staff, conducting data-based grant evaluations, coordinating with local mental health providers, and overseeing budget. Served as district Crisis Coordinator. Successfully co-wrote and co-managed federal Crisis Management Grant and served as member of district Crisis Management Leadership Team. Duties included training staff members, writing the district crisis plan, developing and facilitating crisis drills, and providing evaluation and feedback on drill performance. Networked with local emergency responders/officials to facilitate dialogue between local emergency officials and school administrators. Co-wrote grant reports and represented district at federal grant meetings. Facilitated district Positive Behavior Intervention Supports project. Responsibilities included serving as coach to project schools, attending state trainings and meetings, and submitting project reports.
