Kinesiology may also be listed as Physical Education Human Perfmance at some campuses. Students may pursue Bachels and graduate degrees with emphasis in adaptive physical education, athletic training, physical therapy, dance, movement sciences, spts management, teaching, and coaching which provide numerous career opptunities in both the public, and private sects. Cabrillo offers options f degrees in Kinesiology.The first option listed below is an Associate in Arts in Kinesiology f Transfer (A.A.-T), which is intended f students who plan to complete a bachel's degree in a similar maj at a CSU campus. Students completing these degrees are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus maj. See Associate Degree f Transfer infmation in the Cabrillo College Catalog. Students pursuing transfer to a specific campus maj concentration should pay careful attention to the courses they choose from List A to insure maj preparation f their preferred campus. The following is required f all A.A.-T A.S.-T degrees: Completion of 60 CSU-transferable semester units. Minimum grade-point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 in all CSU-transferable coursewk. While a minimum of 2.0 is required f admission, some majs may require a higher GPA. Completion of a minimum of 18 semester units in the maj with a letter grade of "C" better, a "P" if the course is taken on a "Pass/No Pass" basis. Certified completion of the Califnia State University General Education- Breadth pattern (CSU GE Breadth) the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) pattern. Provides the opptunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in KIN 10A, and provides practical exposure to the athletic training profession. Under the supervision of a Certified Athletic Trainer, students will assist in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to student-athletes. KIN 10B Athletic Training: Treatment and Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries Recommended Preparation: BIO 4; Eligibility f ENGL 100 and READ 100. Focuses on the follow up treatment of athletic injuries including the phases of tissue healing and basic components and goals of a rehabilitation program. Topics include therapeutic exercise, therapeutic modalities, and other fms rehabilitation such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture. 3
