8 NU DRAIN CASE STUDY: YORKSHIRE WATER Nu Drain technology used by Yorkshire Water to rehabilitate a number of clay and pitch fibre sewer drainage pipes in built-up residential areas. Pipes were all located in difficult to access spaces and experienced problems such as blockages, damaged pipes, and cracked joints Pipe replacement would have been extremely disruptive for local residencies and road users

Drain system serving the production facility with pipe diameters ranging from 100mm (4 ) to 225mm (9 ) The drain system suffered multiple blockages, circumferential fractures, open joints, leaks, and collapsed and broken pipe sections Only alternative solution for the customer would have been to dig up and replace the entire system Our skilled technicians were able to rehabilitate the failing drain system using our unique pull-inplace technology, and did so without disrupting daily operations in the plant

12 NU DRAIN CASE STUDY: AVIVA STADIUM Difficult to access 580mm (22 ) HDPE rainwater pipe which was a main outlet for rainwater off the stands. Problematic joints causing blockages, back-ups and leaks Failing system ran under the stadium arena and into the electrical supply room, therefore a costly shutdown to the busy stadium would have been required if the customer had chosen a traditional repipe Technicians gained access above the electrical room and were able to clean and fully reline the problematic area using the Nu Drain structural liner
