1 Overview This standard is for those who provide paraplanning services to financial planners in the delivery of bespoke solutions to clients as part of the financial advice process. You must be able to support the ongoing relationship with financial planning clients by delivering a consistent and reliable service. This will involve reviewing client files and the performance of client s holdings in order to plan and arrange effective further meetings with the financial planner. You must be responsive to queries from clients and ensure that they are kept informed. FSPPP07 1
2 Performance criteria You must be able to: P1 maintain a system for reviewing client files and cases in line with your organisation s timescales P2 undertake reviews of client holdings to determine the financial performance of your client s existing financial arrangements in line you re your organisation s timescales P3 review information in the client files to prepare for client meetings, P4 organise appointments between the client and the financial planner,as required P5 support the financial planner in client meetings P6 deal with client queries in line with policies and procedures P7 follow up and issue appropriate documentation to the client P8 explain for the client the timescales required to prepare and deliver financial solutions P9 respond to compliance requests by supplying the required information in line with the required timescales FSPPP07 2
