Mark leather 1/4 from one end. Thread leather 1 through closed half of Z Hook. Fold over leather and punch a hole through both layers. Push the post half of the rivet set from the back. Set the spacer on top and press the top half of the rivet set down to snap together. Place rivet set onto bench block. Hammer rivet top until firmly set. Mark leather 1/4 from the other end. Fold leather over at the 1 mark and repeat the hole punch and riveting process. Tip: To prevent rivet head from flattening, use a rivet setter.
