Knowing how to analyse then solve problems while being an effective leader in the increasingly intertwined worlds of business, politics and civil society will add a new dimension to the progress you can make in your career. Modules offered in Berlin, Brussels, and other cities around the world give you first-hand insight into international public policy and business. Your network will be enriched by peers from the corporate, non-profit and public sectors. You will have have the opportunity to broaden your expertise with input from high-profile lecturers in academia and practice. This application-oriented programme will give you ample opportunity to apply the skills you learn directly to your current job as you go through the programme. The module includes Business, innovation and governance and the professionally focused capstone project. CORE PROGRAMME: The core programme combines key business and management knowledge from ESMT (Business Foundations, Management Functions ) with in-depth insight into governance and policy analysis from the Hertie School (Governance in Theory and Practice and Public Private Interaction). ELECTIVES: Participants can choose up to three courses from the Hertie School s elective portfolio and from the course offering of the Global Network for Advanced Management, of which ESMT is a member. GLOBAL IMMERSION WORKSHOPS: Both ESMT s International Field Sem inar as well as the Hertie School s Workshop in Brussels offer partic ipants the opportunity to gain insights from the field. Participants may have the opportunity to take one elective module at one of the Global Network for Advanced Management partner schools including Yale School of Management, IE, EGADE, Koç, and others, during the Global Network Week. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Participants receive training and coaching in ESMT s Individual Leadership Development Itinerary module; in addition, they can choose two skills trainings from the Hertie School s portfolio.
