8 2. booms, socks and sweeps BOOMS (SOCK-AND-NET) All booms are non-linting and are sock-and-net construction to ensure that all particulate stays safely inside the boom. Each boom comes complete with end rings, snaps and a strong rope running the length of the boom. Land Booms are available in gray (universal) and yellow (HazMat). The bilge booms are designed for use in bilge and sump situations. (See our HazMat section for yellow booms.) Use them for marine spills or other applications where they must repel water and float. The sock-net covering on our booms and socks prevents the fill from escaping. It also makes the booms and socks flexible enough to wrap around the base of leaky equipment or curve around a spill area, yet retain their strength. 7

10 3. pillows, pans and particulate IN HARD-TO-REACH PLACES, DRIP PANS AND PILLOWS MAKE SPILL CLEAN-UP EASY. PILLOWS Pillows are used mostly to absorb leaks and drips that are too large for a pad. These multi-purpose items can also do the job of pans and pads, making them ideal for plant maintenance issues. Their large surface area makes for fast wicking and shortens clean-up time. Use them in tight spaces under machines and leaky hydraulic hoses and in cramped corners. (See our HazMat section for yellow pillows.)
