4 Step One: Design Your Flight Track System Fixture Type: Pendant and LED Pendant refer to pg Spot Light refer to pg Choose High-Line specific fixtures that can be used on the Flight track. Determine part number(s) for fixture If desired choose accessories High-Line specific fixtures (150 series) are economical fixture options for the Flight system. See worksheet 1. to add up total of fixture wattage into box A-1. Go Green and use the LED Uni-Light pendants the only company that can offer a 3watt LED pendant on a low voltage track with a low voltage transformer. Choose lamps for fixture, that do not exceed maximum wattage for fixture or accessory. A. Qty A-1. Length: Measure the length of Flight run; determine quantity and length of Flight pieces required, each piece is 6 6 in length. Hand bendable track is available in a 78 length. In between each track segment a track connector is required. See box C. To avoid kinking the track, radii smaller than 2 ft. should be bent on a template or other bending machine either by the installer or the manufacturer prior to shipping. 5 Step Two: Design Your Flight Track System End Caps: Be sure to add End Caps to each run. See box D. D. Qty. Part Num mc Supports: Determine number of ceiling supports, You should allow one support for every 3 ft. on straight track runs. Shapes with irregular angles or closed circuit systems (ring, square, etc.) may require more mounting elements for increased system balance or for better system symmetry. See worksheet 3 to figure out how many supports needed, place into box E. Does the run have to overcome major differences in height? If so, please specify cable suspensions. Connectors: Flight is a 300W single circuit system; an isolating connector is required to electrically isolate your track into multiple 300W sections. Each feston lamp draws a total of 1.2W; Each 78 track segment includes 39 festoon lamps. See worksheet 4 to figure out how many connectors are needed, and place into box F. E. The isolating connector can replace the use of the track connector if its placement does not conflict with the desired placement of fixtures.
